everyone’s always like “oh jon’s an asshole” “jon’s an abrasive dick” “jon doesn’t play well with others” but do you ever stop and think about how many people really truly care about him and like him and love him and trust him. they expect him to be grumpy and insensitive sometimes but fundamentally they know he’s a wonderful kind caring man and they love him for it. melanie goes to him when she’s lost everything because she knows he’ll listen and try to understand. basira enjoys talking to him and thinks he’s funny. georgie cares so very much about him and she does so much for him and she wants nothing more than to help. tim is heartbroken and lashes out because he feels betrayed, because he and jon were close, because he trusted jon and then everything went to shit but that love between them is fundamental. daisy grows to care about jon and tries to keep him grounded when he’s losing his grip on humanity. and martin, he knows jon. he sees jon and he loves him. which is all to say that jonathan sims may be a hard man to like sometimes, but he is not a hard man to love, and he is not alone.

So, we came to the city to be with our father who had a massive stroke. We had to come down on really short notice bc the hospital told us he wasn’t going to make it through the night. We had to give up our spot at the shelter. We need a spot at a motel for the month until we can figure out where to go. The city my dad lives in is one of the most expensive in the world to get a place. I’m on disability and we’re working on getting my sister on it too. We really really need help. PLEASE PLEASE WE DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANYMORE 😭

hi guys! i know it's been a while since you've all heard from me. unfortunately, this return isn't under the best circumstances.
i'm really struggling right now. i recently made the difficult decision of quitting my job - the mental and physical strain it was putting on me was unbearable, and it reached a boiling point when i was s*xually h*rassed by a customer. my autism already makes it very difficult for me to maintain a job in a fast-paced, crowded, or stressful environment. i can't combine that with a place where i was consistently harassed by customers. i'm looking for something new asap, but i don't know how long it will take, and i'm already a week late on my rent ($730.)
i hate to ask for help, but i really don't know what else to do. even if i get my rent paid, i still have other bills to take care of, as well as other living costs such as supplies for my two cats. my bank account is currently in the negative.
if you have even a dollar to spare, i'd appreciate the help so much. i have no family i can turn to and no quick-fix way to get through this all on my own. i can only take on so many art commissions at a time, but i have decided to provide a few other services in the meantime. if you'd like to buy something, please message me here on tumblr or add me on discord (nep#7626).
