Congratulations to everyone on our show, STAR TREK: PRODIGY, for winning âFavorite Animated Seriesâ in the 2023 TellTale TV Awards!
It was a very tight race this year with some stellar competition â The Simpsons, Bobâs Burgers, Harley Quinn, Bluey, and Owl House â but thanks to the fans, we prevailed. We are honored. đđŒ
remember, it's imperative to turn your aesthetic preferences into moral ones. you can't just dislike neutral colors, or glass-and-steel skyscrapers, or flat design, they have to be symbols of neoliberal capitalism in decay. it's incredibly important that you make sure everybody knows that the only reason anyone could like the things you don't like is that they're an empty shell of a person.

âDifferent, certainly. But certainly not better.â

I donât know who allowed that trainwreck of a âââremixâââ into the SNW S2 trailer, but speaking as a too-elder millennial who was much too hipster-adjacent in 2002⊠please hear it correctly.

I'm going to be honest, Picard season 2 is basically a budget-saving maneuver in search of a plot, and yet it's...kind of my favourite? Like I think that it might honestly be my favourite season of Star Trek ever. Like...must a story have "a plot"? Or "coherent themes"? Or a "satisfying payoff"? Or character motivations that "make sense"? Is it not enough to have a dying God confess his love for an old man he's been tormenting for thirty-five years? With a major subplot about a character I relate to marrying/becoming the Borg Queen as a weird sort of transgender analogue?
Personal log, Stardate fuck this shit
So Iâve had this little Tumblr since November 2017. Itâs my âprocessing feelings about Star Trekâ blog, obvs. I did not expect nearly a thousand peopleâokay, dozens of people and hundreds of bots, lbrâwould end up reading my feelings about Star Trek.
Well, here we are. And the thing is, I donât think Iâve ever had this many feelings about Star Trek. I donât mean since Nov. â17. I mean since 1991.
Youâve been warned.

Canât believe they called that episode âVĂ”xâ and not âWorld War Gen Zâ
