Hey there.

@discardedmilkywaywrapper

this has always been a metal sonic fanblog now it's a prime!metal sonic blog for the time being
freshly picked mushrooms: An entire plastic trash bag's worth of them. An unfathomable amount of mushrooms. 10 litres of them, easy. We're talking 3 hours of cleaning time. Would feed five people for an entire day. cleaned, chopped mushrooms: Okay sike, there's just enough to there be more than enough for one frying pan. Never gonna fit on that fucking frying pan btw. cooking mushrooms: LMAO YOU FOOL. THE LOWLY SPINACH KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THE ART OF SHRINKING. Also there's a gallon of water in here now. Whatever you were planning to fry on this pan is just gonna get boiled now. You hear me? You're getting soup for dinner. Get souped, idiot. cooked mushroom stew: lmao double sike, this is still an unreasonable amount of mushrooms. Like four bowls of mushroom stew. Bitch you thought. Also you're still going to be hungry again like 15 minutes later.

Plane flight home. Guy holding up the TSA line because he is trying to bring a live cat on board. No harness. No carrier. Just a loose armful of cat.

TSA agent is clearly beyond pissed, but also doesn't really know how to respond.

They just sent him through. TSA told him to wait while someone "found a carrier."

The guy looked sheepish and confused. Like, he didn't even realize, the cat was gonna be a problem. Also, calmest cat I've ever seen.

Remember The Blind Side starring Sandra Bullock? The movie showed how a kid who had an extremely rough upbringing got help from the family of a school friend, found success in football and ultimately ended up being adopted by the family. Turns out he was never adopted.

Michael Oher says that he was tricked by the Tuohy family into signing documents that made them his conservators. Since he was already 18 at the time the family told him, “that it means pretty much the exact same thing as 'adoptive parents,' but that the laws were just written in a way that took [his] age into account.”

Oher also says that papers were signed so that his story and likeness were given away for free to use in The Blind Side. He also never got a single royalty check for the hugely successful, Oscar nominated film in the 14 years since its release.

It just continues to baffle me that they essentially purchased a young Black man's life to make football money off of, like buying a racing horse, except a person. Like, I don't know how else to say it. And then made everyone think it was something wonderful they did to "save" an "impoverished, Black boy", and he's been saying it for years to no avail that they took advantage of him!

thinking about how tome researched serizawa, found out about claw and was like" wow i cant believe the internet is lying to me about my cool and epic friend serizawa"

i will never understand the insane takes against having games be more accessible

Avatar

“does every game NEED to be accessible to disabled people? 🤨” yeah, actually

Avatar

also the pissing and shitting over difficulty settings. just play the game on the normal difficulty dumbass it’s not for you

Avatar

Same with stuff like screen shake, particle effects, flashing/lightning effects: “But the game would look terrible without them!”

Then Just.... Don’t turn them off then, dickface...

Meanwhile, *having the option to turn them off* would greatly increase the number of people able to play the game.

In response to your tags, yes I am evil! But are you not as well? Is that not the human condition- to be a mixture of good and evil in one? Is there truly such a thing as evil, or is it just yet another false dichotomy made by people scared to accept that part of their self? Accept that you are evil and become a better person for it

Because I'm only seeing other Jews posting about this, non-Jews I need you to be aware that for the past month or two there has been a wave of bomb threats and swattings at synagogues all across the US. They usually do it when services are being livestreamed. I haven't seen a single non-Jew talking about this. High holidays are coming up in a few weeks, which is when most attacks happen against our communities. We're worried, and we need people to know what's happening to us.
