Hey! Your art is honestly so incredible! If it’s not too much trouble, do you mind giving some tips on drawing eyes?
Oh my gosh ty but I’m actually the worst at drawing eyes … I just BS my way through them as fast as I can every single time!! Here are a few tips that come to mind though:
1) The shape of an eye changes greatly with the angle of the head! I think of the eye as a sphere and rectangle in a 3D space and draw the eye from there, instead of just a fixed almond shape every time. This way, I don’t need to rely on references too much either.
2) This doesn’t apply for all eye shapes, but generally the highest point on the eye is close to the middle of the face/inner corner of the eye and the lowest point is located near the edge of the face/outer corner. Keeping this in mind usually helps me with simplifying eyes and different eye angles!
And here’s my typical process for painting an eye:
1) Flat colours underneath a sketch
2) Merge the layers and render (blend)
3) Details!
This isn’t completely conclusive but I hope this helps you in some way! If you have any other questions just lmk :)

School just really sucks cause they take this wonderful concept of learning and discovering new things and just completely ruin it with the atmosphere of judgement and suppression of creativity and strict deadlines and basing your intelligence on a letter and wow you ruined it nice job
i will never not reblog this

absence and lack of communication makes the heart idealize a person and subconsciously twist one’s perception of them into something greater than they really are
