I love that tumblr is so quick to want to defend women who claimed to have been abused/sexually assualted. But I also hate that about tumblr.

Take the Amber Heard/ Johnny Depp incident for example:

Amber comes out and says that Johnny abused her and people just started supporting her without looking at the facts.

People like me, who look up to Johnny Depp, chose to look at the facts before we decide to stop supporting him. Since he was a huge part of most of our childhoods.

The evidence was…. off…. from the photos she posted, the police reports, the way she acts in her videos, it just doesn’t fit right. Also, she immediately demanded money from him, which is bizarre for someone who is trying to get out of an abusive relationship.

She also was arrested for abuse a few years back so I already don’t trust her.

People just jump to saying “I support Amber Heard” without realizing that they are supporting an abuser. These are the same people who bully people who support Johnny Depp so I guess that can make you a hypocrite in your own mind.

I’ve seen the evidence that provided, I do not trust Amber and never will. Now that’s not saying that Johnny is completely innocent. We all know he has a temper and sometimes drinks too much. But that doesn’t make him an automatic abuser

With the recent JK Rowling defending him incident, Heard spoke out and said that it wasn’t right how he is still able to find work after what happened between them. Why would she say this if she was actually arrested for abuse? Does she really have a right to talk about this? Should she stop getting work. Amber is clearly still butthurt that she didn’t get her way during the whole separation.

Don’t forget that JK was actually in an abusive relationship before.

And instead of people looking at this and noticing that something is seriously wrong with Amber, they just jump on the band wagon and support her which I hate. People on here are not just supporting Johnny because he is a good actor, but because it’s clear that Amber is not some innocent actress who got mixed up with the wrong man.

Also, if Johnny Depp was clearly an abuser, why would Winona and Vanessa both say that he has never been an abuser to them? Wouldn’t this have been a good time to bring it up? But they didn’t, most likely because there is nothing to bring up.

Since Johnny has been with Amber, he gained weight, and you can tell he started caring less about his appearance. This is a sign of abuse, but, since Johnny is a man, people say it’s cause he was in a relationship and they let themselves go. Well he was in a relationship with Vanessa for 14 years and stayed in tip top shape. Now if it was Amber, and she was gaining weight and cared less about her appearance, everyone would be saying how she was being abused. Again, it’s hypocritical.

So all I’m saying is just look at what is provided for you before you start supporting anybody. Yes there are bad men out there who abuse women but there are also bad women who take advantage of people.
