Hi! I'm Diana and I'm a dork. I make art and musicals. Genderqueer/31/she&they pronouns. Let's be friends! linktree.com/dianapocalypse

Don't worry, You can trust me with the city budget, just let me in there. Come on, just let me have the budget. I will totally not gut the police budget to build a centralized mass transit network and new libraries. I will definitely not do that, just let me in there please. Come on let me have access to the city budget for 5 minutes. That's all I ask.

deviantart is the only place where real art happens any more and the 46 year olds who have entire deviantart galleries full of hundreds of pictures they created in MS Paint that they’ve been churning out since the early 90′s of their extremely specific fetish where the side character Clopin from Disney’s Hunchback of Notre Dame cuts off all his hair and feeds it to Quasimodo…they are the only real artists. Untethered by capitalism, untethered by clout, untethered by the algorithm. A minion of only two drives…complete creative agency and also sexy Quasimodo eat hair.

The whole point of writing fascist characters as human beings is that real fascists are also human beings. If you think of fascists as somehow less than human you are falling into the trap of letting their mentality frame your worldview, thus legitimizing their course of action!

When you start looking at fascists as subhuman the debate becomes 'which group is actually subhuman and which is being unfairly maligned?' And personally I'm not fucking comfortable with that question being on the table ever.

I think it should take longer to make tv shows and movies. I think shooting days should be shorter. I think AD's lives should be longer. I think we shouldn't have to be in a goddamn rush all the time. I think we should have the time it takes to make good art. I think fans should wait even longer than they do and be happy that everyone who made the art is getting full nights of sleep.

seriously i wish people understood that queerbaiting has almost nothing to do with the actual content of a story. two men can gaze soulfully into each other’s eyes for 45 minutes straight and then at the end be like “oh yes my good pal friend no homo” and its still not anything more than homoerotic and kind of stupid writing.

queerbaiting is a marketing technique to get gay people to buy a ticket. it’s hemming and hawing whenever someone asks about subtext, giving long answers that don’t mean anything to sort of imply “maybe you just need to wait and find out. ;)” it’s interviews where the actors talk about how much they love that particular relationship, and they think they will ~surprise~ you with how it turns out. it’s every single trailer showing these two people almost kissing, even as the creators talk about how offended they are that anyone would think it’s gay.  it’s disney’s 65th First Gay Character that they sort of imply might actually be a main character this time but is yet another nameless asshole. it’s evil, because it’s completely deliberately misrepresenting the actual media just to make a buck.

If you're new to tumblr from reddit, we don't do down vote here.

We have a much more …elegant system in place, which I’m sure one of my mutuals would be willing to demonstrate here.

hey. to the fat person reading this who wants to transition or is transitioning. make your transition goals fat like you. please. the things you aim to gain from transition can be gained while fat. you can be/express your gender and be fat. there is nothing wrong with that, no matter what anyone says. i promise.

let yourself exist. let yourself be happy. you have just as much of a right as every other person in this world to do that, especially as you transition. it's okay. you're going to be alright, and you're also going to look fucking awesome. you already look fucking awesome. it's your body. own it.

If you're new here: Meticulously researched historical mystery game somewhere between an RPG and a visual novel in which your choices matter a lot, set in 16th century Bavaria where you play as an artist employed by a local monestary. Incredible plot, story, and characters, made me feel every human emotion, beautifully weaves in themes about art, history, why we create, and how we're remembered after we're gone, gorgeous stylization (the whole game is made to look like a medieval manuscript and/or woodcut), and was clearly made with so much love. Also how many games come with a full historical bibliography and the option to enable long s in the game text?

It's well worth the sale price especially and it's my mission to get people to play this game.

i wish all old white ladies loudly complaining about union employees “slacking off and getting paid three times what they’re worth” in public at a retail store a very i hope your medicare gets cancelled forever
