hello new D&D movie fans who are writing fic! we’re glad you’re here. as a semi experienced D&D player I feel the need to make a PSA. to wit: while they may appear to be viable options, the Grease spell, and by extension the Oil of Slipperiness, generate enough grease to cover ten square feet or an entire humanoid. this is too much grease! unmanageable and unsexy quantities of grease. “can’t get anything done because we’re sliding around too much” quantities of grease. please opt for mundane lubricants. thank you for your time

Recently I got to bring back one of my older D&D characters as a side character in a new campaign. Now in his 40s and a level 20 wizard, this is updated Vespertine!
yet again it has taken the party less than a dozen episodes to find, adopt, and stupidly name an animal buddy for the group

My new group was unfamiliar with the term “dirty 20” referring to an unnatural 20, they were absolutely flummoxed the first time I used it.
One person in particular has decided to make it a running joke and uses things like “slutty 20” and “soiled 20” and other slightly raunchier terms, you get this gist.
Cut to today’s session where she said, “I got a diseased 20,” and got the response, “So we’ve finally left the realm of sexuality.”
After @probablybadrpgideas posted this I decided to make a sorcerer origin out of it.
It’s been a decent bit since I made something this accursed.

She's a rugged, world-weary ex-sheriff turned notorious bounty hunter, fresh out of prison and on the hunt for justice, revenge, and to reclaim what was taken from her. She's very imposing and kinda cranky but she's already taken on the role of Party Grandma and will fuck up anyone who messes with the others.
