1965 Martian Fink Character Vending Machine Insert and c. 2011 Dave Burke M.F. Resin - Martian Finks were Henal Novelty and Premium Co.’s follow-up to the popular Ed ‘Big Daddy’ Roth designed Rat Fink charm rings. Concerned about charges of infringement to the Rat Fink brand, Henal renamed the character Moon Goon. Vending machine inserts were made but Moon Goons never made it to the consumer. In the late 1990s artist Dave Burke trademarked the Martian Fink character and resurrected M.F. with stickers, tees, and other media, including the rare M.F. resin in the early 2000s.
