and she looked at me with this special look in her eyes
not the kind that makes your heart flutter and the redness of your cheeks spread to your ears, no
she looked at me and my heart dropped to my stomach
my cheeks fell and a frown formed
my ears went numb and all i could hear was the inaudible music in my earphones
my legs failed me and i fell to the ground
she turned away without a word
no words could express all that i saw in those cold, distant eyes
that's when i knew it was over
that's when i knew she would never turn back around
that's when i knew i'd never see that special look in her eyes again
