“Y/N,” he muttered, forehead resting against the wooden door. You had locked yourself in here and hadn’t shown your face since he had done an utterly stupid thing that made his heart drop to the bottom of his stomach and his thorax tighten with anxiety. “Baby, come out…”“Fuck yourself, Kim.”He flinched at the coarse language, the expletives aimed at himself instead of someone else for the first time, and his throat tightened more than it already had.

A crushing weight was beginning to settle over his shoulders and he was painfully aware of the several of the other members sitting in the living room, desperately trying to listen. He knew you, though. He knew that you were too angry to stay and too prideful to ever come back.

The door slammed shut behind you and he was left alone, standing in the hallway, hand reached out for you.
