NOTHING is funnier than the fact that the majority of tumblr has completely rejected both hetero ships for wednesday and completely committed to wenclair. i saw one post that said “any wednesday x xavier truthers on here?” like. no babygirl. there aren’t.
people getting mad at wenclair shippers because “girls can be friends” as if everyone and their mother wouldn’t be shipping them if enid was a guy. people love the golden retriever bf/black cat gf trope, but fail to see it when it’s a wlw pairing apparently.

WEDNESDAY SPOILERS
Every. Single. Thing. About that fucking hug SCREAMED endgame lovers
- First off, the BEAUTIFUL score. The fact it is titled The Hug. Like this is a MOMENT
- THE CAMERA WORK. IT SCREAMS, A SOLDIER COMING HOME FROM WAR AND SEEING THEIR LOVER AGAIN
- The build up to it. Enid, injured, only wanting to know where Wednesday is. Not anyone else, not her 'love' interest, not if they won. No. "Where's Wednesday?" In the most PANIC voice
- Enid basically saying "fuck it" to any of her injuries and running full force into Wednesday. This girl just had the FIGHT OF HER LIFE and she's running like she only went on a jog
- How Wednesday pushes her off and Enid allows it. She respects and values all of Wednesday's boundaries, even in this moment when she's feeling so many emotions and needs comfort
- Then we have Wednesday just staring at her. Studying her face, seeing all the blood, cuts, swest and tears Enid went through JUST. FOR. WEDNESDAY. You can almost see the flash in her eyes as she decides that, Yes. Enid deserves this
- THE FACT THAT THEY DIDN'T SAY A WORD TO EACH OTHER. THEY JUST KNEW. THEY SAID EVERYTHING WITH THEIR EYES
- ENID READJUSTING HER GRIP AND PULLING WEDNESDAY CLOSER. You can tell in that moment, Enid was TERRIFIED that if she let go, Wednesday would vanish from her
- You can even see Enid almost nuzzle into Wednesday. Her head shifts around ever so slightly, I dare say it was a half nuzzle
- Wednesday finally closing her eyes and just sinking into Enid. Possibly, enjoying this hug, letting herself just feel every emotion she tries to strike down. She embraces it all
- The fact that they SWAY a bit as they hug (not really a point, but it was so 😍)
