“My life’s been a blur up until the day this happened.” Heath on meeting Zane
Life is about overcome the fear. And it’s on the other side of fear the most amazing things are. Live and learn. And that’s why I think it’s so important to not limit yourself, and never stop challenging yourself. Because it’s when you challenge yourself and do the hardest things that you can ever imagine to do, that you really feel… it’s like a new door opening! Oh, here was a new feeling! Because on the other side of fear is infinite amount of happiness. A happiness of freedom.

Books were a safe place, a world apart from my own. No matter what had happened that day, that year, there was always a story in which someone overcame their darkest hour. I wasn’t alone.

We read to learn and to grow, to laugh, to be motivated, and to understand things we’ve never been exposed to. We read for strength to help us when we feel broken, discouraged or afraid. We read to find hope. We read because we’re not just made up of skin and bones, and a deep need for chocolate, but we’re also made up of words, words which describe our thoughts and what’s hidden in our hearts.

FRIENDLY REMINDER: You are allowed to feel proud of yourself for things that might seem silly to other people, like getting better at a video game or putting together a nice outfit for the next morning or finishing a book. You deserve to feel proud for your accomplishment.

We are the last generation who can hear from these survivors directly. Do not take that lightly. Do not waste that opportunity. Do not forget your freedom isn’t infinitely guarenteed. And do not, do not, let it happen again.

Really truly, watch the video, reblog it. Teaching about the holocaust is so necessary for our generation before it slips under the rug and people forget about it.

my favorite part of concerts is when the band plays a song everyone knows so everyone’s singing along all out of tune but then the singer stops singing and they point the mic at the crowd and u just hear everyone in the crowd singing the words to the music and u see the smiles on the band members’ faces bc they know people care about their music and everyone’s just so happy who cares about anything else
