•Jushiro Ukitake, as a boyfriend, exceeds his usual kind and loving nature. And you thought he couldn’t get more irresistible! He is the epitome of a gentleman. Having lived so long, he has had years to perfect being the dream boyfriend. •Jushiro prefers quiet, humble hobbies. (i.e his bonsai and tea ceremonies with Yamamoto) but he does like to get into some energetic fun activities. He also writes a column or two in the Shinigami paper, including an on-going children’s series. He participates in the Shinigami Men’s Association and he is often the target of the Shinigami Women’s Association for various group activities. Regardless, he will urge his s/o to get in on the fun. He will also be interested in what it is you like to do in your free time. He will be absolutely thrilled by whatever it is, and if it isn’t too taxing on his body, he will engage in the activity as well.

•S/O must be prepared to deal with Jushiro’s bouts of sickness. How frequent his attacks are is very dependant on several things (Is he worked up? Is he in an unclean environment? What season is it? Is it too hot or too cold? etc.). He can have coughing fits so bad, it can be scary. Especially when he coughs up the blood. He doesn’t like to be sick in front of you for more than one reason. He knows it hurts you to see him that way, and he also doesn’t want to be a bother. If he finds out his s/o has been consulting Unohana about how to care for him when he is feeling bad, he will be so touched to the heart. He low key swoons for a woman who doesn’t flinch as she cleans his blood from his chin. It’s NEVER something he asks for, because he is self conscious with the blood he coughs up. But, to him, a girl who cares for him so much that she isn’t afraid of helping him clean his coughed up fluids screams “love!” in bright neon lights. He might thank you “personally” after he’s recovered later.

•Jushiro is SO emotionally in-tune with his s/o. Like if they’re feeling indescribable joy, HE feels it to. If they’re crying, he cries with them. If they’re nervous, he feels nervous, too, and he does everything in his power to help you feel better.

•If someone is bothering you, Jushiro will politely step in. People mistake Jushiro of being a vanilla man who is an easy push over. But in reality he is just old as hell with a patience to match. Just look at his “fight” with Lilynette! (Which was more like him trolling her for about 5 minutes, but moving on.) If you’re not the type to deal with altercations on your own, he will step up and kindly tell the other in Jushiro-fashion to go away. If the opposite is the case, he will have the respect for his s/o to not intervene.

•Marriage is no stranger topic to Jushiro. He is the head of an aristocratic family. He’s probably had the old heads of other such aristocratic families approach him with their daughters before. But Jushiro isn’t the type to marry for lineage or money; He wishes to marry for love and when he’s sure about you, he will propose to you. He will have it cleverly staged so that you won’t expect it. He always wanted to propose to the love of his life on a cloudless night on a full moon. For some reason, it just suits him. It’ll be after a usual dinner date, only you might notice some extra things. He’s never wore such an expensive kimono before, and his hair is tied back. That might be your only clue to his motives. After dinner, he leads you on the balcony that overlooks his beloved koi pond. There will be casual conversation that he craftily leads to the prospect of your future together. After he is certain that the chances of you saying yes are right, he will present you with a ring. The ring itself wasn’t chosen by its price. In fact, it was custom made and he chose certain gems and minerals that best suited you. He had consulted Shunsui several times about how he thought about the ring.

•Jushiro’s wedding transforms into a huge turn out. It couldn’t be helped. Jushiro has a LOT of friends and he comes from a large aristocratic family. Due to his social and military rank, even those of the Noble families may attend the wedding. Jushiro cannot bring himself to bar his dear Division from the wedding and so it winds up becoming a public event where anyone is free to come watch one of the Gotei 13’s oldest and most respected captain get married. Shunsui, the right hand man, is going to cry and this will probably be the first happy event he’s ever been to in which he didn’t get drunk within 30 minutes. (Poor) Toshiro got talked into being the ring-bearer and Retsu “convinced” Isane to be the flower girl. Jushiro, after asking your permission, had Yamamoto to wed you two together. Hisagi, Kira, and Renji got stuck with photography duty; they were “employed” by Nanao so a new photo book could be arranged and sold by the Shinigami Women’s Association.

•The RECEPTION will be the complete opposite. It’s private; You and Jushiro personally hand selected everyone who was invited. Captains and lieutenants are invited by default, Jushiro’s officers, perhaps Ganju and Kukaku (the younger siblings of his late lieutenant), his siblings, Hanataro (whom he feels in dept to for the latter risking his life to help save his lieutenant’s life). Yeah, there was a lot of invitations. (Mayuri balled up his invitation and tossed it in the trash; He sent Akon in his place). Jushiro looks the happiest you’ve ever seen him. Shunsui makes sure to share in the brilliant day with his best friend. Some time during the festivities, Yamamoto could be heard bragging about Jushiro when he was young and how Jushiro was always the “purer of the two.” Shunsui will complain, Nanao will tell him to quit interrupting the Commander’s story. You will be showered by the ladies of the Gotei 13, people keep smothering the name “Mrs. Ukitake” in your ears.

•Dad Jushiro… *sigh*~ Jushiro is a loving father. And to be honest, he is the low-key stay-at-home dad type. And he seems like a natural with the babies. He will cry when you tell him you’re pregnant- weather it’s the first time or not. Jushiro is EXCELLENT with kids and he makes for an great teacher. He always has a camera close at hand for all the moments, like the first steps and the first bath. By the time the kids reach 5 yrs of age, they will have 5 photo albums dedicated to them. Jushiro comes from a large family; He will want lots of kids. At least 5 or 6.

Being a police officer in the age of superpowered humans was an interesting predicament. Being a quirkless cop made the experience even more interesting. While several of your co-workers had their own quirks—which were useful, but not useful enough to pursue a hero career, such as having anthropomorphic qualities, mild telekinesis, the ability to talk to fruit, etc—you were one of the few normal ones.

Because of that, there was more pressure for you to prove your worth. The alley was dimly lit, fading to pitch black the further in you went, and you cursed. If your suspicions about the villain’s identity were correct, he would blend in seamlessly. You slowly approached, observing your surroundings. A flash of movement to your left caught your eye. But just as you cocked your gun, it was kicked out of your hands. Pain shot through your wrist as you narrowly dodged a punch to the face, the whoosh of the air overhead letting you know just how much force he had put behind it.

You darted for your gun, knowing his quirk wouldn’t have an effect on you. Just as your fingers grazed it, his weight slammed into you from your side, the air ripped from your lungs. You toppled to the ground with a groan, stars dancing behind your eyelids. When you came to, you were on your back, your side throbbing, and he was sitting atop you, twirling your gun lazily in one hand.

“Having trouble there, officer? It’s been awhile.”

💫- he’s that best friend type of dad. You know what i mean??

💫- he’s a pal before he’s a dad if that makes sense.

💫- the dad that makes ‘thats what she said’ jokes and the dad that will laugh at your memes and send you ones back.

💫- toshinori yagi is a damn protective father, once news spread of his kids identity he absolutely refused to let reporters or news people harass you.

💫- big fucking giant ass man who just pumbled a villan, holding a small ass phone to his ear and gushing to his child of how proud he is of them.

💫- small lanky noodle dad sitting on a couch and watching dr.phil or something with you sitting beside him.

💫- mainly calls you, “kiddo” or just by your name.

💫- “ dad look its the good kush” ,“ this is the dollar store how good could it be?”

Endeavor-

🔥- endeavor feeling terrible about how he’s been, trying to change and be a good father.

🔥- the type of dad who doesn’t get any joke you tell him and his confusion makes you wheeze.

🔥- he wouldn’t get mad if you were being silly. In the past he would have but now he just sighs and goes along with it. Like that time when you roasted marshmallows with his beard.

🔥- he really is trying to be a good dad. He feels pure regret and shame for his past and wants to change for the better. So he’s very proud of you and makes sure you know it.

✴- a good but also shitty father that you love and cherish. Like he’s not a shitty parent but hes a shitty parental figure.

✴- he’s going to drag you along for groceries and in town chores. Even when you groan and grumble he’ll be waiting for you to get up and out the door, “i don’t want to do it either but we have to.now come on.”
