Because I feel like your mod gigolas is already there and we just haven’t seen it happen yet.

I actually have done a little ficlet for modverse that fulfills this prompt - “this quarter’s performance review” on Ao3, though it’s more of a sidecar topic than the focus.
This is actually a trope I love a lot!! @roselightfairy and I both headcanon Gimli as a very private person, so in this verse I’d like to imagine it’s a four-year revolving system of students knowing vaguely that their professor is married to an elf, then discovering one day (explosively via study group group text) just exactly which elf that is.
Sometimes I seek out one of the cats to huff his belly, ‘cause while I’ve never been particularly maternal I do imagine that endorphin rush is what people are talking about when they say babies smell nice
I have a Legolas-n-Gimli figurine that the cat recently absconded with. I found poor Legolas on the opposite side of the house. 🤣

I draw blond Legolas 'cause I imprinted on Bloom in 2001 haha. That's basically it. I know a popular interpretation for him is a more Arwen-ish palette, and those Leggies are very good too! I love Leggos of all types - one of my absolute favorite Legoli is this one by @ jadenvargen he lives in my head rent free - and sometimes I have drawn him in @roselightfairy's interpretation of him - but basically my necessity for Legolas is that he MUST be a willowy whimsical homo who operates only under the laws of cat physics. If he is those things, we're golden. :)
When I’m in an art slump I draw Legolas being pretty on social media.
We have a canon-era design which is basically his name in dwarvish with floral elements. Generally just because I’m lazy I translate all of his canon-era ink to the modern version. It’s funny you ask, because I’ve always sort of thought his Legolas tattoo maybe didn’t translate so well to modverse, so @roselightfairy and I chatted about it and I think some sort of leggy water bird would be a nice modern stand-in. :)
