happy pride. i worked hard on this shirt
so i guess today i disrupted the UN "ai for good" summit and got arrested with a friend
our statement that was published shortly after explains more of the specific motivations (we have since been released and are both exhausted on our way home)
(i can't add a second video to a post so a twitter link is the best i can do)
statement transcript:
If you're in LGBT friendly spaces and someone introduces themselves and cautiously says they're fine with any pronouns, it is your duty to notice which pronouns the people around you tend to default to for them and ensure that you refer to them with any and every pronoun under the sun except for that one. You must.
I told myself that if I ever need anything to paint I should pick the first photo I see on my dash and paint it and this was the first one so I committed.
wonderful pair of posts on the dash tonight
horsey :)
I keep watching this (4kbmedia)
Im enjoying the longevity of tumblrs recontextualization style of humor. a seemingly innocuous post followed by like "posts that a gnome would make" or like "are you a phone"
More from the notes:
I love this post
The horse thinks as it scratches an itch
the insane experience of missing a fictional character . like you can always go back and reread the book , replay the game , rewatch the show or movie , you can always go back & see them , but you can never experience them & their story for the first time again . its absurd to miss them because they'll always be there , but you'll miss when there were still new things for them to say .
for a small time they were real & growing and changing and you hung onto every new word, but now all they can do is repeat the same story forever&ever & they're not real anymore because you know everything they're going to do. & you miss them. its fucked man...
The discovery of the statue of Antinous in Delphi, Greece in 1894
Really obsessed with this one like how old cameras worked making everyone blurry against the statue and just makes you realize how long the statue has been right. There.
