I haven't rly seen anyone posting about this yet but I've started seeing posts that aren't from people I follow, rather, posts that people I follow have liked. And that can be annoying, Tumblr trying to be Twitter, etc. But also! I'm seeing shit that's way too fucking personal! Users liking vent posts from their friends' secret sideblogs or liking posts about their own mental health conditions and current struggles with them such to the point I can reasonably guess exactly how they're vulnerable right this moment. So PSA: private your Likes if you engage with literally anything that isn't targeted at a public audience like art or humor.

To toggle sharing your likes and following on and off:
On the web, visit your blog settings and look for "Share posts you like" or "Share the Tumblrs you're following".
In the apps, tap the account icon (the little human) while viewing your blog, then tap "Likes" or "Following" and "Change", or, tap the gear icon and select "Pages".
