Disabled and chronically ill Americans protesting the repeal of the affordable care act today outside senate majority leader Mitch McConnell’s office, June 22nd. The response? Capitol police violently moving and arresting them as always. Fuck McConnell the police the state and our president for their vicious ableism

Exactly so – images should always be described for blind people and people with low vision or visual processing disorder who rely on text to speech “screen reader” software, and videos should have captions for people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have audio processing disorder.

People with disabilities are fighting for our lives here–and for yours too (if you are a non-disabled person). The news about our community should be accessible for all in our community too.
