(Watch Out) Boy was inspired by a (very, extremely) bad breakup. It was written to immortalise feelings of isolation and insecurity, but somewhere along the way it turned into a fun, empowering song that pokes fun at the idea of the “crazy ex-girlfriend”. We have been so blown away by the response so far - it means so much to us that this personal story has connected with you all. Thank you, from three very happy Robins. 🦴💔

We have this theory that everyone has a period in their lives where they go a bit crazy. It was a period like this that inspired (Watch Out) Boy. We’ve been playing this song at gigs for 4 years; it’s been out 4 weeks and is currently at #4 on the triple j Unearthed Roots Charts. Thank you all for supporting something that’s so special to us.
