Trashing around
(This started as a small ask but this happened. enjoy)
I saw a belly movement video and now I have this stuck in my head:
Imagine a boy who is carrying very active quintuplets. It’s not a problem at first, but as the babies grow it really starts to hurt. When they kick particularly hard, the boy cannot help but tense his abdomen. This in turn causes the babies to move more, and so on. He is dreading labor, knowing his belly will tense almost non-stop.
When he goes into labor he tries to stay relaxed. The sobs as the contractions make his babies trash around. He avoids pushing for as long as he can to prevent the babies that are not in his birth canal from kicking. But he can’t fight it forever. Eventually he gives in and pushes. He screams from the combined pain of the relentless movement and a baby spreading him open. He begs his babies to stop, tries to ease them down with gentle touches, but this only seems to encourage them.
After hours and hours of his stomach being distorted, he tries to focus on the birth. He’s on all fours on the bed, rocking his hips to try and get his first baby to get the fuck out. The position is hell for his back, as it now carries the full weight of his heavy belly. He cries out with every push, but progress is slow.
After spending twenty minutes like this, he’s had it. When his belly hardens with a contraction his arms are no longer able to support his weight. He doesn’t care anymore. He lets himself fall forward, and the mountain of pillows he had put around him does not take away from the sudden increase of pressure on his belly. He screams as his babies distort his belly. The pain makes him curl up around his stomach (as much as is possible with his size). With his babies moving the way they are, he is in too much distress to properly birth them. Which makes the contractions worse. Which makes the babies protest even more. He feels like he is in a never-ending cycle of pain. He is desperate for the pain to end. He brings his arms around his belly, and after moaning his way through it, he has managed to bring his thighs up against the undersides of his stomach. He is scared for what will happen, but he has no other ideas.
When the contraction comes, he pushed hard. He leans forward, pressing his belly against the bed. His arms are on the upper part of his belly, and he pushed them downwards. He screams as he squeezes his belly. It hurts so so much. He feels his belly tremble from the strain of it, but it makes it hard for the babies to move, and he finally feels his baby crown.
He spends the rest of his labor like this: pushing and sobbing and squeezing. It takes six hours of agony for him to birth his five babies. During the labor of the last one he is squatting next to the bed, having to let gravity do most of the work since even the lightest touch to his now bruised belly makes him want to scream in pain.
