I recently started watching enterprise and I just have to say that the andorians are hilarious. They are a well established species in the star trek universe and they work well in the story but despite the fact that when enterprise was made they had the budget and technology to make good looking aliens they are stuck with the original design from tos. They've tried to make it better with the wiggling antennae but they still just look ridiculous and I love it.

Also: can we talk about Alan Tudyk’s face when he tells Summer OF COURSE SHE WOULD HAVE TO BE THE PILOT, THERE ARE ABOUT TO BE BABIES. Like, this is the obvious course of action. It’s not like he’s thinking HMM I WONDER HOW WE WOULD LOGISTICALLY WORK THIS no, he’s absolutely positively sure that Wash would be the manny.
In short: I love that man.
Jayne would originally be really grouchy about the kids screaming at night when they’re teething and would try to avoid them and not let anyone see he spoils them rotten. And Kaylee and Simon would have a little girl who doesn’t like engines or medicine but she has Jayne absolutely wrapped around her little fiinger after he catches her disassembling one of his pistols at age five. And he takes her under his wing and teaches her all about guns and calls her his Little V (short for Little Vera) and the nickname eventually spreads to the rest of the crew.
