That when you read a wine menu and see something like "notes of leather and wet stone" you think "did an insane person write this its grapes" but after youve read about wine and growing regions and the effect of oak barrels on aging and tasted a bunch of stuff and given it some thought you find yourself taking a sip of french syrah and thinking "mmm little bit of leather on the finish there" and all of a sudden that shits not crazy anymore. For what its worth, YES, yes yes yes yes! As someone who loves wine and wrote 250k of an a/b/o story, yes these things are exactly the same!

Those changes you’ve seen? Those are their true personalities coming out.
Largely due to each other’s influence.
If you have a problem with that, stick with RWBY Chibi because that definitely seems like more your speed.

Okay but that’s genuinely what I like so much about RWBY. I’m not really a big anime fan because of certain common tropes found in a lot of anime that irritate me to no end (and don’t @ me telling me “oh there’s anime that isn’t like that” okay I know that Im still not a fan for various reasons I won’t get into)
But RWBY takes those tropes and deliberately flips them into something new and unexpected. I recently got one of my friends into the series who is an avid anime watcher and she told me that because she’s so used to anime style story telling she thought she knew where the story was going and was quite surprised that it didn’t go that way - and she still loved it!
So when I see people ranting and raving about RWBY and how it doesn’t quite cater to the typical anime crowd I wanna grab their shoulders and shake them like “THATS THE WHOLE POINT YOU KNUCKLEHEADS”
