Heartbreaking Intimiate Thoughts As Urban Art

American photographer Peyton Fulford’s’ urban series “Abandoned Love” exposes intimate thoughts and unrequited feelings experienced by those who are heartbroken. By placing colorful birthday banners around the walls of Georgia, Fulford’s expanding collection is a compilation of messages, diary entries and somber meditations by submissions from Tumblr users. They reflect thoughts of abandonment, unresolved answers and heartache from a breakup.

Australian painter Jessica Watts series of oil paintings “Wallflowers” may seem straightforwardly aesthetically pleasing, but hide a secret and symbolic beauty only known to the artist and those who seek deeper. Although the female body is one of Watts’ muses in this particular series, the models’ eyes are covered and attention is taken away from the body with the inclusion of flowers and a collage-like, wallpaper composition.
