Any construction worker that hates OSHA should actually hate their boss for giving them so little time that the only possible solution is to be unsafe.

this goes for any job, not just construction.

All their regulations were written in blood. You should be demanding that OSHA standards be met at your workplace. If they aren’t, report them and refuse to lift a finger until the problem is fixed. STFU about inconvenience and put on your goddamn hard hat.

I led field research teams in sweltering, buggy, muddy, miserable conditions for years and you better believe I met and exceeded every OSHA requirement. It took extra time and a shitton of extra effort on my part and I was happy to do so.

People who write fic on mobile genuinely frighten me

I didn’t think it could get worse and yet somehow it did

All through high school I wrote fic on my TI-83 graphing calculator using the alpha function. I discovered you could write an “equation” about 449 lines long this way before the calculator stopped accepting input and I had to hand copy it to paper.

After that I wrote fic on the note function of my old LG flip phone where you had to press 7 four times to types S.

Also wrote fic on a paper plate while at a party at least twice.

I’ve never been more fascinated and also deeply unnerved by a person before

My uncle was one of the top surgeons in the country. He was upper middle class definitely. When he got cancer, his insurance didn’t cover all the treatments he would need and after 5 years he drained his savings on cancer treatments (while still working most of that time) and eventually died because he couldn’t afford the expensive treatments that might have saved him.

If you are upper middle class and you get sick, it will likely bankrupt your family. It’s fucked.

And in case y'all were under the impression that he works hard to make that money, he's publicly proud of not doing a whole lot of hard work at all. He also revealed that he doesn't allow office birthday lunches and thinks his sexiest quality is that he does the dishes. Hi everyone, not an art update but a friend update. My friend Alfred Coleman, who you may know better as PaperboxHouse, (who you may know better as the “Eggman Announcement” guy) is in serious trouble. 

In the past month I’ve taken him to the ER three times. He’s been suffering from serious stomach pain and anxiety, and he hasn’t been able to keep down a full meal in almost a month. He’s suffering from malnutrition, and he hasn’t been able to take care of himself. Yesterday morning I picked him up from endoscopy surgery, and the hospital discharged him when he was obviously still unwell. He was too weak to walk, and couldn’t even get back in his apartment. I took him to a different hospital to hopefully receive better treatment.

While in the emergency room, I was able to set up a ko-fi page for him to help pay for any medical expenses. This new hospital has already been treating him much better so far, and he finally is being monitored overnight instead of being dismissed like he has been in the past. My only worry is that he would be unable to afford his new treatment, and that’s where you guys come in. 

Through some miracle, we’ve already been able to raise over $47,000. That is insane. But it only proves how much he is well-loved, and what he means to the artist’s community. Alfred is one of my dearest, oldest friends, and if you could help with this cause, whether it’s through donation, or just sharing this post, it would mean the world to me. I’ve been keeping updates on the situation on the ko-fi page, with more minute to minute updates on my twitter. Thank you all for your support.
