25 Days of Outlander: Day 5 → Favorite Claire Outfit Blueberry, 2x04 La Dame Blanche
Anyway, the Blueberry was created because I found this gorgeous pice of fabric, once again at Britex. I was really playing with colour and decided to embroider the brilliant red leaves on it. Not only did it make for a stunning costume for Claire and highlighted the opulence of Paris, but it highlighted the beautiful colours in the fabric in a really dramatic way. (Terry Dresbach)

Calling All Colin Fans!
“Oh, it’s just another one of those stupid contests,” I hear you saying.
And yeah, it is. And let’s be honest, most of us click a couple times to vote and then forget about it. Ain’t nothin’ wrong with that.
BUT THIS TIME WE’RE ACTUALLY TRYING HERE, GUYS. The fandom’s banding together and voting for our guy. Let’s all give it a go, okay? Maybe we’ll get him a win. Maybe we won’t. But let’s at least get together and TRY! We’ve been doing a great job and we’ve gotten him this far, but Maisie is proving to be a formidable foe, and this is an epic close battle for our captain! We need all the help we can get!
“But when I vote for him, his number goes DOWN! I think it’s broken!” Nope! Not broken! In the second you’re posting your vote for Colin, other people are also casting votes. And if significantly more Maisie fans than Colin fans vote in that second - Colin’s number goes down. His numbers go UP when significantly more Colin fans vote than Maisie fans do. When you see his numbers go down, don’t get discouraged! His numbers would go down even faster if you weren’t voting - so your vote helps!!!
“But it says ‘We have already counted your vote’!” It does that after you cast 25 votes in a row. You just have to take a breather and then come back in a couple minutes and toss another 25 votes in. It’s actually better for us that they do this - it means we can’t be bested by fandoms who use bots for these kinds of things, and it breaks up the monotony of voting!
“But it’s boring!” Play some music. Watch a movie you love. Do something fun between voting bouts. Make a post. Play a round of a game. I’m using my “off” times to fix some tags on old posts. So I’m helping Colin and getting something done.
So come on out! Help us!
