Lookin’ at you, Tumblr.

Grow up. Not everything is made to your demands, the people who make the decisions don’t care, and you’re only hurting people.

Me when the drums start playing in Black Panther

GOTG/Farscape

Has anyone else noticed that Guardians of the Galaxy and Farscape are fairly similar? I mean:

-They’re both so weird you thought they would be utterly terrible but they’re actually really amazing

-There’s a ship whose name starts with M

-This ship’s crew is made up of criminals who become like family to each other

-There’s the Southern white dude main character who’s always making outdated Earth references his otherwise entirely alien group doesn’t understand because he’s been separated from Earth for years and his life fell apart when he realized aliens existed (Peter/John)

-There’s the main female character who’s a badass warrior and wears lots of black (Gamora/Aeryn)

-These two characters are the slow-burn end-game OTP

-There’s a sentient humanoid plant (Groot/Zhaan)

-There’s a tiny thief (Rocket/Rygel)

-There’s a tattooed warrior whose life was greatly affected by the murder of his wife (Drax/D’Argo)

-Basically they’re both similarly awesome and if you watch only one or neither of these things you’re missing out

Harry Potter series from Ron Weasley’s perspective

  1. Ron Weasley and I was an asshole to Hermione
  2. Ron Weasley and I had to follow spiders
  3. Ron Weasley and my mouse turned out to be a prick and I shared the same bed for years with him.
  4. Ron Weasley and I was an asshole to Harry
  5. Ron Weasley and nothing much happened
  6. Ron Weasley and I was an asshole to Hermione -again
  7. Ron Weasley and I was an asshole to everyone

Heartbreaking Simpsons Moments 1/∞: Bart Gets an F

I never understood why it’s an F if he gets more than half out of 100? Unless it’s more than 100. If you get more than half the answers right how is it an F?

You must not be from America. Here, grading is fucked up.

Average American Grading Scale: A+- 97-100 A - 94-96 A- - 90-93 B- 80-89 C- 70-79 D- 60-69 F- 59 and under

oh wow that is fucked up

why do they skip E in america

There’s an E in other grading scales?

And in some places in America it goes by a 7 point scale, so it’d be A - 100-93 B - 92-85 C - 84-78 D - 77-70 F - 69 and below

Now you understand why American kid’s feel like there’s no point to school. If you have a 100 question text, and get 79 of them correct, that’s a C. That mean’s your Average Intelligence on this particular subject. And it get’s even worse when you have only like… a 10 question quiz. If you get two wrong? that’s a B. 80 fucking %. Now tell me again why American school’s are easier?

No wait but whats the grading system in other countries?

UK Grading Scale

100-70: A

69-60: B

59-50: C

49-40: D

Below 40: F

ARE YOU FUCKING WITH ME?! THATS INSANE!!!!

next time you try to tell americans that we’re stupid

i’m gonna remind you

that our “average” is your “A”

French system: a grade on 20, 40 on big exams, 10 for short tests. There are no real levels but kids made them: above 15 is great, above 10 is good, above 5 is a bit low and under 5 is bad. We are only judged by our unofficial system we do by ourselves, teachers often announce an average on tests so you know how good you did. And it’s better like this.

If you want to know why the United States has one of the highest student depression/anxiety rates in the world, please examine this post. Americans aren’t stupid, our grading scale is much harder.
