see the thing about sootbur is that l'pog is that they'd both hate each other because they're so different, yet they're also the era of bursonas on the dsmp timeline closest to each other. l'manbur is tied down by l'manberg but he has it, and pogbur is relatively "free" but has lost everything. both are exact opposites and good narrative foils if you look at them in the right sense and a great enemies to lovers story. learning how to reconcile and learn from the other and getting better

the thing about sootbur is that revghost is narratively beautiful though in practice poorly implemented story about someone learning to love the worst and best parts of themself via themself and becoming whole. (ghostbur is NOT innocent and only the good parts of wilbur and he's not a child fuck off). and also they fucked in limbo

the thing about sootbur is that argsimp is too freaks coming together and learning to be freaks together <3 people that have been alone in the world for so long and finding someone else who's finally insane enough to be on their level. comforting each other in the loneliness. (they also hate each other at first).

the thing about sootbur is that ghosts squared is that they both have so much in common yet such different things happened for them both. both have traumatic things they can bond over (i.e. phil blowing up their home) and they're such little ghost guys.

the thing about sootbur is that l'manbur and revivedbur are two different eras, the beginning and end, come together. and l'manbur is weary and tired from his days of presidency and the election and revivedbur is weary and tired from his days in limbo and post revival. they sit quietly together and wonder about what it all means. maybe they'd get hot-headed at each other as well, but it's the aftermath that truly counts. l'manbur helps revivedbur remember why he did everything he did and what it all meant and revivedbur helps remind l'manbur that things aren't the end.

the thing about sootbur is that ghostbur and pogbur are, quite literally, opposites in every way, fandom and otherwise. ghostbur's been woobified to hell and back, treated like a small innocent child and pogbur's been villainized so heavily it's not even funny. ghostbur doesn't care that pogbur hates him, ghostbur's stubborn, and maybe ghostbur eventually grows on pogbur. who knows.

the thing about sootbur is that 100pbur has always needed to run his experiments, to take things apart, to see what ticks, and it is so, so lonely being a good. and then he meets an immortal immoral dragon doctor who loves quite literally taking people apart and someone who could withstand his craziness. someone who wouldn't die and leave him.
