OK SO!!! I tried redesigning bernadetta in the style of FE8!! There’s nothing wrong with the FE16 artstyle… I just prefer the look of the old games so much more!:D Replicating the FE8 style was so much fun and a bit of a challenge I enjoyed!

And by no means am I saying that my design is better than the FE3H original, I just like to see her in the old game style, I think it’s sooo charming and warm! I miss it a lot.

I know everyone’s been saying Pepsi or Colgate but Alear reminds me white rabbit candy!!!

Little Kagero redesign… my wife..

I have a lot of thoughts about her outfit, but my main qualm is just that it doesn’t suit her characterization. Like your telling me that’s the outfit of the high prince of hoshidos retainer, a deadly assassin who must uphold a grim image ????? She’s cutesy but I feel she deserves better.

Any other fire emblem designs you just don’t like? Lmk :))

A really self indulgent Corrin redesign… <3 blorbo

Celine redesign!! Disclaimer I’m not saying my design Is better, just saying it’s how I would design her. Went for a brown instead of the black, which I think is much more spring like.

I also wanted her coat to resemble a scholarly robe, as she’s a studious gal! While designing I realized the beautiful flowing hair was blocking a lot of the space and making the top really hard to design, so I pulled it up in what I hope is an interesting way!

I took a lot of inspiration from mila, because while Alear can’t transform into a dragon, they’re still a dragon child… so the dragon has to go somewhere! Also I was thinking, if they’ve been asleep for so long, their clothes should look a bit outdated. So I went with simple, classy clothing that I think is reminiscent of Echoes designs. I think I just really like Mila’s design. I wanted the design to really fit the title ‘Divine Dragon’ because I feel the original outfit has more of a scrappy noble energy to it, like Roy.

And honestly? I don’t think the red and blue split is that bad, once you desaturate the colors.

Sometimes I really wish that Female Robin’s outfit was a little less androgynous.

I’ve recently been thinking a lot about the story of Fates and trying to think how it could be improved based on what the story we got is (since I don’t have the creative energy dedicated to this for a total rehaul). These are just the basic ideas I have right now and I’m open to criticism and ideas (especially ideas for an outfit for Kamui). I plan on maybe fleshing out the idea after I finish replaying Awakening so that I can replay Fates so my mind is fresh. Though I’d also like to know if anyone would be interested in this in the future if I do end up doing this.

Have you though up anything for Revelations?

I’ve not thought of anything for Revelations yet and it would be a whole new level of problems to tackle, so I’ll probably save coming up with ideas for it until after I’ve fleshed out an improved version of Birthright and Conquest’s stories.
