It actually hurts me that Eleven loves and trusts Mike so much, that she risked getting caught and her life in order to help Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Jonathan, Joyce, and Hopper find Will, and not to mention the other times she saved/help Mike, simply because he was the only one who saw her as a real human being, rather than a hyper-intellectual kid, with abnormal abilities. Like, Mike actually /cared/ unlike her ‘papa’ who only wanted to use her for her powers, and when he wanted to take her back to the lab, she cried for Mike. She trusted him so much, and despite all she had been through, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas were more of a family than anything else. And, that makes my heart sad.
