Music is Spiffy

I was doing some cleaning last night and found an old university textbook of mine. It was for Intro to Music, an elective I thoroughly enjoyed. Check out this cool piano:

That's Mozart's piano or something. I like how the black keys and white keys are reversed. Did you catch that??? Of course you did! I caught that the first second I laid my blue eyes on the picture. Seems kind of obvious. But just in case you are having a hard time figuring that out, the textbook gives you this caption to help you:

THANKS A LOT, BOOK! NO ONE WOULD HAVE EVER FIGURED THAT OUT, EVER. THANK YOU FOR HELPING US STUDENTS FIGURE OUT THAT OPTICAL ILLUSION TRICK OF THE EYE PIANO WITCH MAGIC!

btw...I just remembered I was in this classroom when 9/11 happened. where were you? (leave your answer in the comments)

Good news...at last

OK. So I've been unemployed since November and it has been over 5 months and I was about to have to sell my house because I was running out of money (stressful....which is why I haven't been posting) BUT I had 3 great interviews with a very awesome company and they sent me a job offer TODAY and I signed it.

I am so happy and excited and it took a long time but I am finally going to have a job. And what is more, is it is a great job and I ended up not having to settle for something I hated.

I start May 15th. I'm stoked. It's doing all math and numbers in their finance department and I LOVE that.

We'll Always Have Paris

Last weekend I went to Paris with my parents to see my maternal grandparents. Being unemployed the last couple months has been stressful so it was nice doing something fun to take my mind off it all.

The AirBnb we stayed at was a quaint, very tiny house. The owners left wine and cheese for us. So good! It was a really nice trip. Paris is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there, so I enjoyed getting back home after being there a few days.

P.S. My granddad gave me an awesome guitar!!! (I might post pics later.) I also enjoyed seeing the iconic Eiffel tower, of course.
