my cat hates taking his pills. the only way we can get him to eat them is to turn it into an elaborate pantomime - we take the packet out of the cupboard slowly and hold it up, saying “oh!! what’s this? what’s this? a TREAT? a TREAT for louis????” while making surprised faces. we offer him a pill… then, before he has a chance to sniff it, we wag our fingers at him and replace it in the packet so it becomes a Tantalising Forbidden Mystery. we continue doing this until he’s so confused and excited that he will eat the pill as fast as possible, just so he can find out what it is before we can take it away from him again. as soon as he’s eaten it he looks utterly disappointed and betrayed, like a child who just ate a delicious sweet only to find it was a chocolate-coated brussels sprout. it never gets old

I used to but through years of training my brain I have gotten past my spider phobia. I still don't want to hold a spider or have it on me, but I don't mind them in my space.
I have several pet tarantulas now, and a few house spiders I see from time to time that I've learned to recognize as individuals. Unfortunately the cats usually kill them lol.
Same here. Spiders STILL deeply unsettle me, but I've gotten to the point where i am ok with them existing in my room.
Also everyone at work is super impressed when I hold a spider in my bare hands and i'm very easily persuaded to do things if it impresses people.
I can't quite get myself to pick them up with my bare hands (except jumping spiders for some reason) but I don't kill them anymore. I just sort of let them chill. Or I catch them with the good 'ol jar and paper trick to move them outside. I don't mind holding pet tarantulas either, but that might be because they're usually pretty slow and chill.
Honestly my missus @mitzibitzi takes care of the spiders for me. Cuz i am terrified of them. Ill let out a yelp scream and run away.
If i cant see them then they dont bother me.

Okay, we all remember the scene where Tanjiro announces he’s gonna kill Muzan and everyone kinda laughs at him like “Ah what a silly little guy thinking he can kill Muzan!” Shinobu has the cutest giggle, Gyoumei even chuckles so warmly! They all look so lovely and normal!
AND THEN IN THE MANGA IT’S CHAOS.
Kyojuro is just SO INTO IT. Kagaya is the sweetest of course and is like “Mhm good job honey you’ll get there eventually! But let’s try and start with something small :)”, and meanwhile his daughter is just staring at Tanjiro like he’s started reciting poetry backwards in Dutch. Muichiro has absolutely no clue what’s going on. Shinobu is going through the five stages of secondhand embarrassment. Gyoumei is repressing the hardest laughter of his life to the point where his cheeks are puffing out and he’s physically shaking. TENGEN IS ABOUT TO HAVE A FUCKING ANEURYSM. This right here is absolute art. I love the anime to pieces, but holy SHIT is the manga comedy gold.
