female kpop idol killed herself after accidentally exposing her nipple on instagram and receiving intense online abuse, after already having received it for years for sometimes not wearing bras. this literally wouldn’t have occurred if men shut their fucking mouths. god the world hates women for existing

and now the same media outlets that debased her for not wearing a bra, spread her accidental flashing around, and have been on a harassment campaign for YEARS have the gall to write articles about her suicide, adding mental health lines, saying how tragic it is, as if they weren’t massive contributors

#this was obviously not the only reason for her suicide #but also the fact that a lot of men got off over that same vlive...#I truly hate people sometimes

How did you learn korean? Is it easy in comparison to learning English for example?

Waahk, no definitely not. I’m still very bad at Korean honestly. I know just enough to survive here in Korea (though I know plenty of people here who can only say “hello” and “thank you” and they haven’t died yet). I learn by self studying mostly, though my Korean has kind of been on hold since I’ve came to study here... You can follow classes, but they’re 10 hours a week and I wasn’t about to give up that much of my freedom. I’d say there are a lot of general grammatical rules that need to be followed for Korean, but they’re not TOO difficult to get a hang of, it’s just very different from English. For me, vocabulary is the real struggle. Forming sentences with words you know isn’t all that hard, but it often happens that I just have no idea what a person will be speaking about because I don’t know any of the vocab they use or they use a grammatical form I’m just not familiar with yet, lol. Definitely a lot harder than learning English.
