OK. I have decided to return to this account and actually use this and my main as my true personal accounts instead of the RP blogs I currently live on. As such, this one will be turning, from here on out, to being ONLY for cosplay. Either mine or whatever I find interesting. Since I don’t want to delete this blog or anything on it.

okay, okay, hear me out:

what if the boy who lived was the girl who lived? scruffy tomboy harriet “call me Harry” potter, getting extra rubbish from the Dursleys both from being a girl and being the wrong kind of girl

and absolutely nothing in the entire 7-book series changes except for pronouns. because girls can be brave and imperfect and angry and sulky and loud just like boys can.

(except a girl harry would room with Hermione Granger and the Patil twins instead of Ron and Sean, but that’s literally the only thing I can think of that might change)

WHAT ABOUT GINNY

absolutely nothing whatsoever changes with regards to Ginny. except that in addition to “why doesn’t Harry notice me as more than a chum,” she grumbles, “why hasn’t Harry managed to realize that CHO IS STRAIGHT”

A heist with Markiplier thoughts

SPOILERS AHEAD, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

What I love about what Mark does is that everything is connected. If you find Darkiplier, you see the connections made at the end of Who Killed Markiplier? Obviously. Because this is Mark, as Dark says "Same snake, different skin." Because Mark(actor Mark) is truly this selfish man who is perpetually stuck in this loop that he may or may not be aware of. And more on that in a bit.

But back to Dark, I always think back to the first time IRL Mark talked about him after a Date with Markiplier. He said he's a terrible person who really admires Mark and his accomplishments. An old friend. Much like Damien and the Colonel were to Actor Mark. So, on that, it’s really funny to me that the clues Dark leaves for you lead to the bloopers video. Its like he’s boasting about Mark, boasting that he’s better and that Mark is just a fool. Or, maybe because it STARTS with Dark, its just a show that we really are all trapped in this game he made for us. Which isn’t surprising. We’ve waited for this for months and spent the first few days, for most of us, probably thinking about nothing else. We were trapped in that loop trying to find all the endings, all the clues, everything we could find. 

But, is Actor Mark aware he’s in a loop? He repeats things he’s done before, and a lot of the events in AHWM are similar to ADWM. Same snake, different skin. Its the same game, but the further we plunge down it, the more complicated it gets. The more muddled the story, the more bizarre the extra endings. And funny enough, a LOT more of them loop back to the beginning this time. Which never truly surprises Mark, he is just accepting of his fate and happy to spend his time basking in his spoils. He’s not aware he’s stuck in this loop, he took the blue pill a long time ago, long before WKM and now he’s just stuck suffering in a purgatory of his own creation. 

The thing about all of this is that Dark is actual the sane one here. He may say “perhaps I’m the crazy one” but during that sequence he’s telling you everything you need to know about Mark. Mark is keeping us trapped in his game, he has a firm grip on us and he can’t let us go. We are just as trapped in the game as Dark is and there’s really no turning back so long as we keep watching. 

The truth is in the box, and the truth is that we are all trapped in this never-ending loop with this maniac and lovable goof. (And also plot convenience. That’s in the box as well. My favorite trope tbh)

dnd parties meeting up in a tavern gets a lot funnier when you consider that even by the standards of the world a group that consists of multiple fantasy races, some of whom are wearing fancy armor and robes and/or openly carrying magical items and weapons, all showing up at roughly the same time and taking a table together probably isn't a regular or expected occurrence
