It's from his "goth vampire" period and tbh it is still one of my favorite songs. I don't think it ever got a music video.

It was also heavily inspired by the color palette and art of Hades (the game). I was playing a lot of Hades at the time and the music and visuals and colors really bled into this work. The rich brocade texture of the fabric lends itself well to Greek mythology.

It will be coming to my site on Tuesday alongside some more reasonably sized pieces 😂 so keep an eye on darkreconstructionart.com

Warning the gallery it's hung in for a year is also a yoga studio and new age store so it smells very strongly of sandalwood! Which I love but if you do not like or are allergic to sandalwood this is not the piece for you! ❤️

Random thought #5: you know, all of the most popular fanon traits the fandom assigns to wei wuxian to make him seem like a worse person/to prop up their favs are just directly lifted from the canon characters they want to prop up. Morally gray and willing to cause harm indiscriminately for his goals? Nie Huaisang. Oblivious but boldly jumping into shit to his own detriment? Jin Zixuan. Crybaby with low self-esteem who always needs his fragile ego glued together or he’d break down? Jiang Cheng. Fragile and needing constant saving by a big, strong protector? Jiang Yanli. Willing to defend a loved one to the death even if they are a conniving criminal worthy of the most torturous death? Lan Xichen. Constantly on a hair trigger with his rage and needs to be constantly placated from going on a murderous rampage? Nie Mingjue.

And all these very terrible traits combined make a very terrible fanon wwx. Stop making the one op character shitty! Stop!

Tumblr Migration 2: Reddit Boogaloo

We all know about the Twitter immigrants, but there seems to be radio silence on what's happening now with Reddit users from certain subreddits doing a similar thing.

What's happening?

Reddit is restricting their API later this month and killing off third-party apps. An AMA (Ask Me Anything) with the CEO Steve Hoffman was held and it was clear that he would continue with the changes.

In protest, thousands of subreddits across the site are planning to go dark for 48 hours on June 12th. Some are planning to continue indefinitely until the changes are reversed.

Okay, so how does this affect Tumblr?

Some subreddits (mainly queer and left-leaning meme ones, don't worry too much about Reddit Atheists™ overrunning us) are encouraging their users to jump ship to our beloved - and beloathed - hellsite. There will be another influx of new users and many will be unfamiliar with how the site works.

What do us Tumblr users do?

Show them how to use the site; introduce them to the site's culture, tell them to reblog shit and curate their dashboard. Sorta like how we welcomed Twitter users back when they flocked here. Kungpowpenising optional.

He puts a blame where it does not belong, which should have been Wen Chao, Wang Lingjao and Wen Zhuliu. He however, continues to use Wei Wuxian as the one who made everything go wrong and to hold that grudge against him simply by having existed. Which has always been the core root of Jiang Cheng's problems; If Wei Wuxian didn't exist, his life would have been so much better, despite his issues having been prominent even before Wei Wuxian came to his life.

I remembered its success on Twitter a while earlier, and so, bolstered by thoughts of "how hard could it be?" and wanting to know, for some reason, who people thought was twinkier between Luke Skywalker and Leon Kennedy, I chose to initiate

My initial selection was simply not enough to fill an entire, entertaining bracket, and so, armed with the innocence of youth and idealism, I created a Google Form for submissions.

The vast majority made perfect sense. Some were a little out there, but ultimately amusing enough to include.
