The Supernovas And Their Straw Hat Pirate BFFs
After the Worst Generation Supernovas and the Straw Hats are done fighting and trying to kill each other off…I think this could be a start of a beautiful friendship! Right? Hahahaha ok…maybe not…but here’s a list of the Supernovas and their future Straw Hat Pirate BFFs anyways!
Eustass Kid and Franky
Can I just say BROS FOR LIFE? Where to even start with these two? They love robots, weapons…pretty much anything to do with mechanical engineering. They are both from the South Blue (wouldn’t be surprised if they came from the same island) and were both able to rebuilt their bodies using mechanical elements. They have MAD RESPECT FOR TECHNOLOGY…So yeah….these dorks are BROS FOR LIFE!
Capone Bege and Usopp
First off…you should see this one coming….Bege is going to ask Usopp to be his son Pez’s GODfather! Come on! Perfect right? Hahahaha! Actually these two would get along pretty nicely…one of Bege’s hobbies is looking at fine art and I’m sure he would love to take a browse of Usopp’s Pirate Gallery. They also would have a great time shooting pistols and playing board games together.
Basil Hawkins and Nami
These two would be MAGICAL together lol. Hawkins and Nami both like taking relaxing baths, they love cats, and they both have an eye for fashion (Nami likes clothing and Hawkins likes interior design). Image these two having a very cute sleepover together on the Sunny: wearing spa facial masks, braiding each other’s hair, flipping through magazines, drinking freshly squeezed juices, and Hawkins would do tarot cards readings all night for Nami. BFFL, folks!!
X Drake and Chopper
First off…When it comes to Daddy Drake NO ONE is going to fuck around with his Son Chopper. Fucking. NO ONE. Drake and Chopper were both bullied a lot when they were kids so they share a mutual respect for one another. Drake has a great interest in zoology and impressed by Chopper abilities in communicating with animals. Them both being zoan users also opens the door for them playing around and showing each other their different forms. Cute AF.
Jewelry Bonney and Sanji
I mean…do I even have to explain this one? lol. If Sanji is going to be BFFs with any of the Supernovas you best and believe it’s going to be with the only girl in the group. LADIES ONLY! LOL! And of course Bonney wants to be BFFs with one of the best chefs in the One Piece verse. He cooks, cooks, cooks and she eats, eats, eats. Now that’s what you call a beautiful friendship, folks!
Urouge and Robin
Much like Sanji….Urouge likes the ladies so of course he’s going to be a BFFs with the classy and refined Robin. Being the eldest and most well traveled Supernova in the Worst Generation Urouge would have a lot to talk about with Robin and she would be all ear for it. They would sip fine wines and enjoy going to Cabaret shows together. Urouge is a BIG FAN of Geisha O-Robi! Duh lol.
Scratchmen Apoo and Brook
Holy shit can you image these two going on TOUR together? The music these two would make together would be INSANE! And not to mention they would probably go around perving on all the sexy groupies together. I know we are all anticipating a crazy Apoo and Brook Fight in the future but I know if these two join forces they are going to make AMAZING music together.
Killer and Zoro
These two are going to be BFF Sparring buddies! They’re going to hit the gym, sword fight to the death, and then go out for drinks together afterwards. Having Captains like Kid and Luffy, they have a mutual understanding and respect for one another. Even though they are usually pretty quiet…they are known to talk mad shit about the other Supernovas together and sharing a good laugh about it. Oh and Zoro will compare Killer’s cooking to Sanji’s from time to time and of course this will get him into fights with Sanji because of it. Boys will be boys lol.
Trafalgar Law and Luffy
Oh…I know I don’t even have to EXPLAIN this one to you folks. LOL. And if I had to I can pretty sum it up in one sentence: Law and Luffy are BFFs because LUFFY SAYS SO. Done. Finish. End of story. Sorry Law…you’re not going to be able to worm yourself out of this BFF relationship. Hahahahaha!!

Not So Easily Replaced
(Ikkaku is pissed at how idiotic her crew has been while on Amazon Lily, so she does what she’s always done - vents about it to Law to let off some steam. Unfortunately, when an argument breaks out between them, she’s left to wonder if she’s really appreciated by her nakama)
“Ugh!” Ikkaku growled, stomping into Law’s office with his second afternoon coffee and a selection of onigiri on a tray. Normally lunch delivery wasn’t her job, but since all the men had been “too busy” fawning over the women of Amazon Lily outside, the menial task had fallen to her; otherwise their workaholic captain wouldn’t eat. “I swear, Boss, if we don’t set sail soon, I’m going to strangle every guy on board!”
“Hmmm,” Law grunted absently as he poured over his notes. Ikkaku didn’t hold his monosyllabic response against him—he’d spent the past few days fixing up that Straw Hat kid and the Fishman. On top of that, the extensive treatments had basically depleted their medical supplies, Straw Hat’s freak-out upon waking up had wrecked more than half the operatory, and the Kuja had been pretty stingy with letting them replenish their food and water from the island, so she was sure he had plenty on his mind. The dark bags under his eyes attested to that.
That didn’t mean she wasn’t going to vent, though. Honestly, if she didn’t, she’d probably snap and end up going on a killing spree or something. Only Bepo and Law would be spared; the Mink had no interest in human women and thus hadn’t been an obnoxious Neanderthal, and Law had been too focused on keeping his patients and crew alive to drool over Boa Hancock.
Hell, when her captain was like this, Ikkaku could literally say anything and he wouldn’t even register it. It took a lot to snap Law out of his thoughts, and he’d never really seemed to mind when she ranted at him to let off steam. Mainly because once she was done, she was usually calm enough to take care of the situation herself, leaving Law in peace and with a non-murdered crew. A happy engineer made for a happy submarine, after all.
Setting the coffee and onigiri down onto the desk, Ikkaku continued, “They act like they’ve never seen a hot chick in their lives. I mean, what am I, chopped liver? They should be thanking the gods that they get to look at my gorgeous face every damn day!” The statement was accompanied by a dramatic toss of her curly hair. When Ikkaku felt strongly about something, she tended to gesticulate a lot, and this was no exception.
“Uh huh.”
She leaned against the edge of Law’s desk, hands waving about as she ranted. “Not that I want them to start lusting after me, but it hurts a girl’s pride, ya know? They could at least acknowledge what a hot piece of ass I am instead of acting like I’m some ugly hag.” She clenched her fist as she recalled how, just that morning, Shachi and Clione had basically given a lecture to the whole crew over breakfast about the superior physique the Kuja displayed compared to the average woman. There had been charts and everything, and to her dismay the silhouette for the “average” woman looked suspiciously like her.

This update will do more harm than good for its users. There is nothing wrong with nudity. If people find offense, they can easily block it from their account. I am personally all for getting rid of porn bots, but if this is going to flag irrelevant content, then it's not worth it. I would much rather just delete and block than not be able to support artists.
Some Photoshop Tips
I’ve been getting quite a few asks about the process for the patterns in my stylized artworks, so I decided to put together a couple of tips regarding them.
Firstly, what you need are
— CUSTOM BRUSHES —
Most of the patterns I use are custom brushes I made, such as those:
For the longest time I was convinced making brushes must be super extra complicated. I was super extra wrong. All you need to start is a transparent canvas (2500px x 2500px max):
This will be your brush tip. When you’re satisfied how it looks, click Ctrl+A to select the whole canvas and go to ‘define brush preset’ under the edit menu
You will be asked to name your new glorious creation. Choose something that describes it well, so you can easily find it between all the ‘asfsfgdgd’ brushes you’ve created to be only used once
This is it. Look at it, you have just created a photoshop brush. First time i did I felt like I was cheated my whole life. IT’S SO EASY WHY HASN’T ANYONE TOLD ME
Time to edit the Good Boi to be more random, so it can be used as a Cool Fancy Pattern. Go into brush settings and change whatever you’d like. Here’s a list of what I do for patterns:
- under Shape Dynamics, I increase Size Jitter and Angle jitter by 5%-15%
- under Brush Tip Shape, I increase spacing by a shitload. Sometimes it’s like 150%, the point is to get the initial brush tip we painted to be visible.
- If I want it to look random and noisy, I enable the Dual Brush option, which acts like another brush was put on top of the one we’ve created. You can adjust all of the Dual Brush options (Size, Spacing, Scatter, Count) as you wish to get a very nice random brush to smear on your backgrounds
The result is as above. You can follow the same steps to create whatever brush you need: evenly spaced dots that look like you painted them by hand, geometric pattern to fill the background, a line of perfectly drawn XDs and so on.
BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE
— PATHS —
But what if you want to get lots of circles made of tiny dots? Or you need rows of triangles for your cool background? Photoshop can do all of that for you, thanks to the magic of paths.
Typically, paths window can be found right next to Layers:
Draw whatever path you want, the Shape Tool has quite a bit of options. Remember, paths are completely different from brush strokes and they won’t show up in the navigator. To move a path around, click A to enable path selection tool. You can use Ctrl+T to transform it, and if you move a path while pressing Alt it will be duplicated.
Now, pick a brush you wish really was in place of that path you’ve drawn and go to layers, then choose the layer you want it to be drawn on. Then, click this tiny circle under the Paths window:
Then witness the magic of photoshop doing the drawing for you while you wonder how tf have you managed to forget about this option for the past 2 years
You can combine special brushes and paths for all sorts of cool effects. I mostly use them in backgrounds for my cards, but you can do whatever you want with them.

Woke up at 2am and couldn’t fall back asleep so I made a tutorial on the Photoshop techniques I use most frequently. Starting with the sketch:
- adjustment layers: specifically the hue/saturation slider in this case, allows you to color correct quickly
- lasso tool: for sharp edges!
- alpha lock: useful for painting within a pre-defined area (especially useful when painting characters)
- x (hotkey) : toggle between foreground + background colors- let’s you easily blend between 2 colors
- ctrl/cmd click : quickly change current active layer. Especially useful if you’re burdened with too many layers (or just very disorganized)
- clipping mask: similar to alpha lock, but can add details without changing/ painting directly on the previous layer. I often use them to test out + apply gradients.
- layer styles: I didn’t use any in this image, but the possibilities for layer styles endless, from simply adding a quick outline (useful for die cut demarcations when making stickers!) to creating more seemingly complex appearances. Here’s a gif of Nick Carver using layer styles (a combo of drop shadows + inner shadows) to quickly make the illusion of snow but with simple strokes.
