i began to like anders after i found out all that jennifer hepler's bullshit ableist writing. she ruined an amazing character with a great cause. when she was like 'anders is like my Nice Guy ™ abusive bipolar ex boyfriend' i lost my shit. no wonder people hate him by default and you need to dig into his story to actually appreciate what she ruined.
