Here’s a tip for roleplaying: Researching about whatever your character is passionate about or interested in. If your character is a football (or soccer, depending where you live in) fan or plays football, then familiarize yourself with the terminologies used in the game, as well as some of the big leagues and famous players. If your character is a model, pick an inspiration or style icon or something. Is it Naomi Campbell? Or maybe Kate Moss? If your character is into fashion, pick a favorite designer. And if your character is a comic book geek? Do your research on that. Is your character a comic book fan, or a manga fan? What are their favorites? There are more comics out there other than DC and Marvel, and more manga than just Bleach, SnK and Naruto. Basically, get yourself in touch with their field of interest. Trust me, the research will come in handy. It’ll serve as a good starter if you can’t think of one, and it’ll make your character more believable.

I love how Harry just genuinely likes Luna. Not in a romantic way, but in a “I don’t know how or why but I get you and you get me and I’d be honored to call you a friend and if anyone messes with you I’ll wallop them” kind of a way. I think he just marvels at her level of don’t give a fuck and her absolute sense of self. And then he and Ginny partially name their daughter after her (Lily Luna) and that to me is just fucking precious.

You have to at least ship their friendship.
