@rudebisco is my seaweed/marine biology/botany blog!

since we are talking about people who deserve a higher salary i think teachers should be making six figures a year btw. if state superintendents who have never set foot in a classroom can make that much so should the teachers. teachers are quite literally the backbone of our society and if teachers were actually properly compensated we wouldn’t have a shortage or bad teachers who are continually burnout because of a lack of proper compensation.

These hot mermaids invited me to smoke a bowl at their place and I had to tell them I can't go because I can't breathe underwater and would drown and then they all started pointing and laughing at me. They called it a gill issue.

fun fact: this is a type of gecko!

amazing how many different lizards decided legs were unnecessary at some point in their evolution

All crustaceans want to be crabs, all squamates want to be snakes. Call it ophidisation

Jokes on you, every animal wants to be WORM. Call it vermification, ophidisation is a more specific vermification that only happens in squamates i would say.

I would call these vermificated. From upper left to right then bottom left to the right these are: Pentastoma, eels, aplacophorans and shipworms. These are a fraction of all vermificated animals.

'Amphibians' alone have done it multiple times, such as our modern world caecilians, aistopods and adelospondyli

me trying to be an active listener: YES no exactly right right right FOR REALLL yeah totally no literally! yeah for sure

"autistic people roll their eyes in a circle but non-autistic people just look up! this is because autistic people always take things literally and everyone else inherently knows not to!" have you considered that looking directly up is simply less work & it's incredibly easy to arrive to that shortcut independently over time regardless of your neurotype if you roll your eyes frequently enough

Enjoy a drink on one of my special coasters. Yea I custom made them (the coasters) to be so light the drinks condensation makes em stick to the bottom of your glass, but still heavy enough that when it (the coaster) finally clatters to the ground it's loud as fuck and shatters your nerves and makes you spill your drink everywhere. Why am I doing this? Well, it's a sex thing for me
