WOAH!

tw: death/souls

I know death in Western cultures mostly gets viewed as a scary, dangerous, horror-style thing...but this webcomic really does make death more...accessible?  Less scary?  It really hits hard in the heart at times (consume responsibly if you’re faint-hearted about such things), but at the same time, it’s very touching and heart-warming.

i love you lab grown diamonds i love you slavery-free chocolate i love you community gardens i love you fact that the insulin patent was sold for $1 i love you locally produced meat and milk i love you streets turned into walkable parks i love you little reminders that Things Do Not Have To Be This Way and there are people working to build a better world!!

girl dinner (big fucking plate of carbs and protein) girl math (complex analysis) girl career (trades and engineering and politics and compsci) girl sports (dirtbikes and football and weightlifting) girl instruments (drums and bass guitar and electric) girl personality (loud and opinionated and annoying and brash)

saw someone refer to not knowing how to keep track of your money as "girl math" ......why are we in this weird era of treating women like idiots but repackaging it to sound cute and quirky. We All Need To Stop

at this point i also take issue with those tweets/posts that are of the genre “girls were meant to sit in their bed with treats and do nothing all day” it was fun and #relatable maybe the first few times but it’s really just feeding into this weird mass objectification and dehumanization of women going on all over every social media platform now
