For My Beloved Cat Gray

My 18 year old cat Gray was euthanized today. Up until that point, she had been struggling with serious chronic illness for a few years, and recently she had deteriorated to the point where she needed to be constantly medicated and given fluids by IV. It was really sad to see her go, and it was really hard for me emotionally, but I'm glad that she's no longer suffering and can finally be at peace. I'm grateful that I had the opportunity to be with her until the end.

I just hope she knew just how loved she was.

Rest in peace, Gray.
