to recover from the upsetting task of submitting my university applications, i’m continuing with these socks. here’s the progress on the foot so far, i think stripes was the right choice

This weekend, I learned how to knit. I learned how to cast on, knit stitch and purl stitch. Then when I left my work, mid-row to fix something, I picked back up and went 1-1/2 rows before realizing that I switched from knit to purl when I stopped mid-row… so now I also learned how to undo a few rows of knitting without loosing any stitches. (I think I didn’t loose any…)

Of all the dreams I keep having, this one is on repeat. Over and over, the same story and I’m still so interested. As I lay back watching these memories go by like a picture book… all I’ve got is this sense of sempiternal everlasting. In the circle and not quiet running from the past. Couldn’t lie, even if I wanted to, the truth is already so complicated. Under the blue sky and standing in the breezy wind, let’s have this dream again.
You know those sounds that play on the radio or TV when there is a weather advisory or a state emergency? Did you know every country has a different one? Did you ever wonder what they sound like? Well here they all are together side by side. I rate them on a 0/10 scale 0 being not scary and 10 being scary. Based on how afraid I would be if I heard it during a state of emergency. Which one do you think was the scariest, was it your home country or was it New Zealand? Yes I do Realize I forgot Italy… It’s too late now.

My co-worker and I have been sending each other lil “Good morning” drawings to start the day, since he started last week! His drawings are… hmm… very strange and kinda like horror-character designs lol, so I thought I’d contrast that with cute fat birds! They’ve definitely evolved a lot since that first lil blue bird! Definitely doing this for as long as possible ^_^
