it’s funny how your perception of beauty and attraction changes whenever you become truly, deeply emotionally involved with someone. you could look and be surrounded by people who by society’s standards are perfect and still remain unbothered by them because they’re not them. not to say that such a deep attachment removes the ability to appreciate beauty, just that it doesn’t have the same appeal as it did when you were unattached.
