I literally hate this so much; you think eating disorders are fun, huh? you wish you had this? you think it’s a bunch of delicate girls in frilly pink skirts and knee-high socks daintily sipping green tea and turning down cookies? mirror selfies with a six-inch gap between your legs and collarbones that resemble the skeleton in your science teacher’s closet? you think you’ll be happy when you hit your gw, that this lifestyle is somehow maintainable and fun and cute and romantic? no! it’s being handed a twelve page packet of foods and realizing you can only eat about 20 of them without wanting to crawl out of your fucking skin. it’s puking into a cardboard box in your room at 1am because you binge ate an entire box of cookies in ten minutes and then crying on the floor because how could I have been so stupid? it’s spending half an hour meticulously removing the walnuts from a packet of oatmeal because you didn’t realize they were going to be in there and I’m not going to eat a walnut, goddammit. It’s staring at  half of a bagel and crying because you have to eat it and yet it’s so fucking terrifying. it’s obsessing for hours over what your next meal is going to be and having a panic attack when that meal is unavailable. it’s spending hours on restaurant websites trying to figure out how to get the lowest calorie menu item possible. it’s a living fucking hell and I wish I had never fallen down this nightmare of a disorder because now I’ve got to claw my way out and it doesn’t want to let me go. it may never fucking let me go. I might just have to learn to live down here as best I can, a life sentence of hell. fuck this, fuck pro ana, fuck thinspo, fuck society for making us think that this is desirable in any way, shape, or form, and if I sound pissed off it’s because I am because no one should ever look at a person struggling to stay alive and wish that would happen to them. if you haven’t fallen in yet, run. run like the devil himself is coming after you. run before it’s too late and you’ve wasted years of your life trying to make yourself disappear. run so that you’ll never have to claw yourself out. and if you’ve already fallen? well, then you best begin that climb. I’m on my way out, too.

You know what sucks

Having an eating disorder and failing at having said disorder. Having the same cycle every few weeks. Not losing weight, but still obsessing over eating less and constantly counting calories. Losing a little bit of weight, then realising you can’t do this for the rest of your life because you feel like absolute shit, mentally and physically, and you realise you have a healthy weight. Then deciding to pig out and hate yourself for it. Then eating normal again. Aaaand a few weeks later you start over..

You will never meet your goal, but you can’t let it go. Everyday is a disappointment. Everyday you feel like a failure. Stuck. Endlessly.

Small waist workout

-Mountainclimbers 30 sec
-Plank twist 40 sec
-Leg pull-ins 30 sec
-Russain twists 40 sec
-Side plank 40 sec (20 sec on each side)
This is a really short workout it only takes 3 minutes, if u dont know what an excersise is just google it or ask me💕 Btw ive been doing this everyday 1-2 times for a week and i already notice a small difference.

To the anon re: beginner back stretches

Hi there, having received an anon asking about beginner back stretches I thought it would be easier to take some pictures at training today rather than try to explain. So here are some example stretches and advice.

Firstly number 1 is the most basic cobra stretch. start on your stomach and push off the floor. Don’t feel pressure to completely straighten your arms as the more you push the deeper the stretch goes, so for beginner feel free to push as far as you feel is safe while keeping arms bent. Keep quads and hips on the floor as far as possible. When pushing up try to lengthen your back upwards rather than letting all your vertebra crunch together. For more of an upper back stretch, have your hands further away from your body (you won’t raise up as high).

Number 2 is a “half bridge”. Lie on your back and clasp your hands underneath you with straight arms. Push up onto your shoulders, hips up to the ceiling as far as possible. This is much more gentle than a full bridge.

Numbers 3, 4 and 5 are also like half bridges. Hold onto your ankles and push up into an arch with your hips pushing forwards as much as possible (3). Take one hand off and reach back, replace it and repeat with the other hand (4). This stretch can actually be quite intense and it can be difficult pushing up while holding your ankles so a good place to start is assuming the same position while supporting your back with your hands (5) and this can also be done standing up and leaning back.

Number 6 is a back twist. Start lying on your back with your knees tucked up into your chest, then let your knees drop to one side while keeping them high up/close to your armpit. Repeat to the other side. For a good stretch try to keep the shoulder of the opposite side pushing into the floor, don’t let it come off as you twist.

Numbers 7 and 8 involve using a stretch band. Normally for number 7 I’d just grab my foot and pull it to my head, however when beginning wrap a band around your foot and pull some tension into the elastic, trying to bring your foot towards your head. While keeping the tension, straighten and bend your leg a few times. Repeat this on the other leg as well. Always be gentle and careful while attempting “foot to head” stretches.

Finally, after doing any kind of back arch work (whether intense or not) always remember to do the reverse stretch throughout and afterwards ie. in this case curving your back in positions such as those seen in numbers 9 and 10. I hope this helped at least a little bit! Good luck back bending anon!

some ana tips

i do not condone eating disorders at all ; these are just tips I’ve found or come up with over my 3+ years of having an ED.

keep in mind , i’m 48kg & 5'7" so these are altered to my weight/bmi

edit to make it clearer to some retards ! all ‘tips’ here are things THAT I DO PERSONALLY. These are things that WORK FOR ME and are HEALTHY FOR ME. I’m not making you do anything & id reccomend altering these to accomidate yourself.

  • never go over 1000 calories , ever. No exceptions
  • no red meats or pork ( only chicken & fish)
  • don’t use Just tumblr for thinspo , use instagram , pinterest , snapchat etc. Every social media so you can see More thinspo.
  • do not listen to other peioles perceptions if your body unless its negative.
  • no snacks , only eat when your stomach starts to make noise for more than 2 hours.
  • when you Do need to eat something , 2 carrots, cut into many small pieces ( small sticks ) & steamed with ginger & garlic for 5 min.
  • frozen steamed vegetable packs are your best friend! one of them is only about 125 cal, microwave it for a couple minutes & throw in some seasoning n youve got a whole meal.
  • no condiments that aren’t low sugar/fat/carb etc
  • no white bread by Any Means
  • buy clothes purposefully too small
  • TAKE YOUR VITAMINS
  • seriously , take your vitamins. Your immune system begins to break down if you dont take care of it & your skin, hair, nails and lips will suffer.
  • i personally don’t like meanspo , so i prefer to imagine what it’d be like to have someone Admire my body. Look at the positives rather than negatives.
  • you’re always smaller in mens sizes! ( i’m a small womens, xs/xxs mens ! )
  • find new hobbies to do instead of eating. I sew & make costumes instead of eating during the day !
  • By no means , should you ever have any food from the candy/chips aisle ( except for gum )
  • Walk for at least an hour every day , i use the opportunity to have a couple of smokes & get some vitamins
  • Never walk while fasting , you risk passing out in public
  • Swap out bad calories ( chips & candies ) for good calories ( vegetables & some fruits )
  • If you’ve got a sweet tooth , try bubblemint gum! sweet & sugarfree. good appetite suppressant
  • Replace meals with drinks. I’m addicted to spiced chai & coffee so often my breakfast & lunch will be liquid.
  • throw out/sell/put away clothes too big for you. Don’t think about what you used to weigh so you don’t go back to it.
  • stay on your feet! move around, put an excersize bike in front of the tv or something! don’t stop moving.
  • learn dances , it doesnt matter if you suck. It creates lots of endorphins (natural happy drug!) & you can burn a lot of calories from it! I learn primarily kpop/love live dances but anything works! have fun w/ it
  • ‘dorm workouts’ and ‘apartment workouts’ on youtube are really handy , quiet so you can do them late at night / in private.
  • wear tight bottoms & baggy tops to make your legs look thinner
  • wear baggy clothing in general , it makes you feel smaller.
  • platform shoes ( im talkin goth platforms ) make your leg muscles flex & legs look smaller. Wear platforms.
  • create excuses to not eat Before you have to face people. Already have a plan ( eg. “i ate some toast and jam earlier” ) something specific so nobody questions it.
  • stop feeling guilty about lying to your friends.
  • be there for other people before yourself ( if you’re capable ) Its easy to distract yourself by worrying.
  • cook for other people , you get the satisfaction without having to consume it.
  • If thinspo isn’t your thing , look at pictures of fat people. It can motivate you to not become that.
  • be cold as much as you can , you burn calories shivering

3 months

It takes 3 months to make a drastic change to your appearance. By September you can be at your goal weight. By October you can dress in that Halloween costume you were waiting to wear until you lost the weight. By November you can wear big sweaters and cute socks and look ADORABLE. By December you can actually enjoy the holidays and not be concerned about that extra fat you used to carry around. By January, you can cross out “lose weight” from your New Year’s resolution because you were disciplined enough to get to your goal weight a long time ago. Just imagine where you could be if you just stick to your plans for the next 3 months.
