Allison Argent: Not Like Other Girls
Written for @teenwolf-meta Teen Wolf meta week: Characters
Allison’s defining character moment comes about half-way through the first episode. She has shown up in tears at the veterinary clinic where Scott works after hitting a dog with her car. Once she’s calmed down, she and Scott have the following exchange:
Allison: Thanks for doing this. I feel really stupid.
Scott: How come?
Allison: I don’t know. Cause I freaked out like a total girl.
Scott: You are a girl.
Allison: I freaked out like a girly-girl and I’m not a girly-girl.
Scott: What kind of girl are you?
Allison: Tougher than that. At least I thought I was.
The no kill rule is not about Bruce just uwu not wanting to become a murderer it’s about knowing that no person is morally infallible and omniscient and you cannot be judge jury executioner and that you are allowed to keep this last bit of innocence that you do not have to live with the burden of someone else’s crime you shouldn’t have to give away a part of yourself just because someone else decides to commit a horrible crime it’s not about whether the Joker deserves death it’s about whether someone should bear the burden of becoming a murderer none of you fuckers know why the death penalty is bad
do you think a Batman who holds little kids to get them to safety can pick them up with the same two hands that took a life? Don’t they deserve better? Doesn’t he?
God I love this post. I know absolutely nothing about batman but I Get it because Scott McCall from Teen Wolf has this same exact issue.
One could even say it's exacerbated by the fact that he's.... a high schooler....... who was forced into the werewolf life by some shitty three-time abuser piece of crap trying to mind control him into killing and Also once a month or more is compelled by the Moon.
Where I'm going with this is he doesn't want to become like Peter. And let's go even larger scale, he doesn't want to be like his *dad*
I get so frustrated when people criticize his character for not wanting to kill. I think it's realistic and makes perfect sense!!
