This is an SOS, people, if you are really fans of this story, please buy the author’s work, and no longer share, even the raws. The author needs our help, so, if you really love these characters, support them and if you can send a message to Peanut so they can make an English version and we can read it, do it. If you don’t want to see how the story ends before, because we need the whole story (and appreciate it), for example: what happened to Shan, her past, or about Haki and Hari, about their mother or about many questions we have, please be aware, if you are really a fan, do the right thing.

And wait, or, if you can buy her work, and share this message, so that all people know, that if we continue doing what we are doing, we will lose Yuri’s best story (at least for me), so please, stop.

And help.

Okei, i get it. I find it… Honestly, i find it a little over the top. Is she/he Not making any money at all?

I mean, i’ve spent so many hours of my life writting and correcting ff and i never made a coin out of it. And, i’ve never been the type of person to even think of abandoning stuff because people does Not comment in it.

Yes, i know it is money We are talikng about and copyright… But the thing is that, those of us who read the fan translations are those who cannot afford to buy them in the first place. So, for me i simply wont be able to even look at the drawings anymore (i dont understand korean, so it would also be pointless).

Making art at a professional level is expensive. It’s expensive not just in money, but in time. Time that you can’t spend relaxing or tending to your own livelihood and health. Time that takes away from your job or your family. For some of us, those things don’t matter, and for others of us, we’re not spending enough time on our art for it to matter. But for anyone looking to be published professionally, neither of those things are true.

Fanfiction doesn’t follow a release schedule. I didn’t have some hard cutoff date on when TCW needed to be finished; I could take my time. Fanfiction doesn’t have an extensive editing process any further than what the writer wants. You don’t pay your betas (usually). You don’t pay the site that hosts your fic for the bandwidth for everyone else to view it. You don’t pay publishing or licensing fees. None of that is necessary. For us, fanfiction is often as much about stress relief as it is expression of love for a fandom. For an original artist… that’s not really how it works.

It’s great that you’re somebody that is willing to put their work into the open without any expectation of thanks or comments. I’m not as good at that. But it’s not the same thing when you’ve invested into something, and you know people around the world are sharing your work, chattering with each other about your work, waiting excitedly for your next piece - and yet, they’re not getting it from you, legitimately. They’re not supporting you as an artist. They’re interested in your output. Not you. Can you imagine feeling used, for your work? Can you blame someone for wanting to escape that feeling?

It’s one thing to become interested in something thanks to pirated or scanlated versions of a work you otherwise would’ve never seen. I think that’s magical, and an important part of the lifespan of media right now, especially when it’s something written to a small or niche audience.

But when you enjoy something, you need to support it. Otherwise it won’t continue to exist. The artist who made it won’t continue to exist. You’ll be hoarding that beauty all to yourself at the expense of not only everyone else that enjoys it, but also at the expense of the person who labored with love and heart to create that beauty in the first place.

I know that it is difficult to accept some things, and that sometimes, there are news that can cause frustration and anger. But the situation in which the author is was caused by all of us, who enjoy an excellent job for free without thinking about the consequences. We are to blame for the story to end. But we can still remedy it, even if it’s difficult, get the real version, buy her work. And if, like me, you have difficulty getting it, wait. This isn’t for us, or our desire to follow the story, is about honesty, and respect for the work and effort of others. Nothing in this life is easy, but it’s up to us to make it more bearable, so, please support the author and stop the illegal distribution of the story, because in the end, it’s for the greater good. Like I said, if you really love these characters, and you’ve struggled to read raw, then put the same enthusiasm to change things, and buy her work and don’t share the chapters.

And share this message.
