You know something really cool but subtle that the Gamecube and N64 controllers did that I have never seen any game controllers ever replicate since for some reason?

The outer bound of the joystick was an octagon instead of a circle

That way you still had the full 360° freedom of a joystick, but you could still make precise 8-direction inputs by using the corners of the octagon as a phyisical guide whenever you needed to. I have no idea why this design quirk didn’t catch on, it’s such a cool little bit of design.

I was carrying a pack of paper towels back to my apartment. I set them down to reorganize the things in my arms and when I turned around there was a beast on my towels. I do not own or recognize the beast.

The beast wailed at me until I was forced to caress it.

I hate thinking "okay let me show less love, let me not care so much" | hate that feeling. I should never have to feel that way. My purest form is caring hard and loving unconditionally
