Is so sad that toh was cancelled, I recently binge watch it again and it makes me so sad that fucking homophobia was one of the reasons for some dudes to say "Well... the gays seem too happy with this. No more cute lesbian couple for them". I crave the comfort of a series made with that much love.

say what you want to say about belos and you're probably going to be right, but you gotta admit - he really upped the ante for children's cartoon villains. he's so unapologetically disgusting and weird, even likeable things about him are a result of him being a freak show of a man.
so many other villains recently were played somewhat safe recently, or at the very least striking a wonderful balance between entertaining and horrifying, which of course is not a bad thing.
then we have belos. he's a literal witch hunter and has blood of hundreds of innocent women and men on his hands from the start. then he killed his brother and took his corpse apart for years without ever burying it and kept it on his desk like a souvenir. and when he's not being a tyrant and an incredibly abusive parental figure, he's pretending to be a small giggly child in his own mindscape for no reason. his face is literally rotting away, his body has gaping holes from it all over. he breaks open and eats live pets of people working for him.
literally nothing sympathetic or forgiveable about him, and I love it.
