Fred & Ginger: An eternity

Perhaps the best thing about the duo is that what they created shall exist in perpetuity.

Nothing in the world can scrape what they did, much less an angry Robyn Astaire who denied access to their clips to be shown in Ginger’s Kennedy Center Honours.

When Fred was honoured by the Kennedy Center much earlier in 1978, (he was one of the first recipients) Ginger was there. She sat amongst the crowd, watching in earnest as Fred magnanimous legacy’s rolled out on the huge screen in front of them. The audience knew that the best of Fred Astaire - his most invaluable contribution was alongside Ginger Rogers. And she knew that too.

NOTHING CAN TAKE THAT AWAY FROM THEM

[ P.S I got so mad with Robyn Astaire’s snubbing I spilled coffee all over my laptop and was unable to use it for a week damn you woman]

Stede “perhaps they understand ecclesiastical Latin” Bonnet has a Special Interest in all things religious. Possibly more than just interest. When Ed discovers that Stede maybe harbors a super-secret sexual fantasy set in a church, they only way he can wheedle it out of him is by offering an exchange. He’ll tell Stede his maybe-secret-church-sex-fantasy if Stede shares first.

Of course Ed doesn’t actually have one.

Yet.

But he’s always been good at making things up on the fly.
