“this pillow works better if your a back sleeper” bitch I’m a rotisserie chicken sleeper I don’t stop turning until sleep rips me forcefully from this world

I want all of it. Your sleepy mumbling. Your drunken embarrassment. Your silly faces. Your anger. Your dance moves. Your anxiety. Your apologies. Your sadness. Your stern looks. Your claustrophobia. Your exasperated tone. Your frustrations. Your past. I want all of it. I want all of you.

me and my partner have been obsessed with the unhinged insanity of this video for the last day. I can’t stop thinking about it.

I can feel parts of my body shutting down in self-defense while watching this. The amount of damage food like this does should be criminalized. The sheer amount of dairy in it alone is a capital crime.

I’m reblogging this to find it to use as an appetite suppressant in future.

it just keEPS GOING

Can we talk about this video and how I CAN NOT.

The “And One More Thing” quality of this reminds me of the Taco Town SNL sketch

i think what makes this one special is how long into the video it remains credibly edible. like “oh it’s pulled chicken. oh, chicken tacos. chicken tacos in a pizza shape? okay sour cream goes with tacos, the mayo’s weird but. hey wait what are you doing with those frying ingredients”

Wow…

oh yeah well what if trains entering tunnels didn’t symbolise sex, in fact what if sex symbolised railway engineering, how about that huh

everything is about sex, except sex, which is about trains

“I have a frightening thought,” she says, eyes on the city skyline. “We’re getting so old, one day we won’t be able to return home.”

And I have a frightening thought, I think to myself, eyes fogged over. We’re getting so old and yet home hasn’t left me yet.

not to be That Bitch but it really is insidious that the construction of the concept of “granny panties” has made women self conscious about their freaking underwear of all things (meant to be worn underneath your clothes and not be seen most of the time!!!) to the point where women sacrifice comfort to wear a gstring or cheeky hipster or whatever crap the industry comes up with all so that women can be constantly maintaining not just a pleasing outward appearance but a ~sexy~ state of mind

PSA thongs are likely bad for you health. They’re linked to an increase in UTI risk, vaginal infections, and your genitals chafing. Women are being socially pressured into wearing underwear that’s bad for their health because god forbid women ever wear underwear or any article of clothing that’s not sexually appealing

Yes, but Briefs are still hideous. Bikini cut exists.

Says who? Why do you think briefs are hideous? Why is covering your ass and not having any part of your ass hanging out hideous? Almost all men’s underwear covers their ass, does that make all men’s underwear hideous and if it does do you think men notice or care? Why are only women noticing or caring if their ass covering underwear is “hideous”? Do you think we’re born this way, that little baby girls pop out of the womb thinking underwear that covers their whole ass is hideous but baby boys pop out not caring and feeling just fine with having their whole ass covered, or do you think maybe they learn that from somewhere?

“If you’ve been brutally broken but still have the courage to be gentle, then you’re a badass with the heart of an angel.”

Keanu Reeves

sometimes it takes time to become gentle after being hurt and that’s okay. i was not immediately gentle after being brutally broken—it’s something i had to learn and am still learning. i don’t believe that you’re only worthy of acknowledgment for being strong or courageous if you’re immediately soft or kind after being hurt. everyone heals and processes their hurt on their own timeline.

Life Changing habits that I’ve implemented in my life | I

•Working out regularly, I have been doing mainly cardio and tummy/waist exercises. It makes me feel so good, moves around the stagnant energy, and uplifts my mood

•Doing breast massages with coconut oil multiple times a day, this has made them so plump and round, my skin is softer, and they’re growing as well. It is a good practice for the heart chakra, as it opens it and gets the energy flowing through the blood.

•Caring with love and kindness for my hair, oiling my scalp and spraying it with a mix of water and essential oil blends. I love my curl pattern so much

•Doing mini digital detoxes during the day, I don’t feel the need to check out my phone all the time now

•Getting in touch with my breath, and concentrating on it when I feel stressed or jittery

•Letting go of old beliefs and misconceptions that I’ve had about life, the other day I wrote them on a paper and burned it with the intention of letting go. This felt so freeing and It was like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. Im gonna do it more often, because sometimes we are our own limitation and enemy, certain beliefs hinder our own happiness and growth

•Eating with the intention of love, love of food, love of my body, and love of life

•Blessing myself, I hold divine essence, so whenever I feel the need to I place my hands on my head or my heart and just bless myself, I feel the presence of God and use it to regenerate myself

•Cleansing my crown (above my head), heart, and space with sacred smoke whenever I feel the need to during the day, I usually use Palo Santo. This elevates me in so many ways

the queen of Oz is a trans lesbian and she’s dating Dorothy

reminder that Ozma and Dorothy were Special Good Bedroom Friends

You mean she was a… friend of Dorothy?

this illustration from The Road To Oz has already shown up in the notes but i dug out my copy to take this photo and i feel like i have to share that yes this is in a physical book i owned and read as a child:

Apparently, she’s also a socialist queen

This is why the land of Oz is so merry, it has no capitalism and its ruled by a funky trans lesbian and her wife <3

Shortstaffing should be illegall

"But what if I can't afford to hire more employees?"

If you have more customers than your employees can handle and you're still not making enough, then you need to sort out your finances. Raise prices if necessary.

Your overhead isn't worth more than your workers' health.

“And if that’s not enough, then just buy more money!”

Listen. If you cannot afford to pay all your employees a living wage and employ a number of people equal to the workload, then you are bad at business management and should consider exploring other career paths. Such as being a cashier.

y’all might be thinking that small businesses would get the short end here. but the thing is, all the small businesses i’ve ever worked for or been involved with, when they didn’t have enough employees to cover the time, the owner worked it themselves, or they closed early/opened late.

the places that consistently shortstaff are big franchises, especially fast food chains. they prey on desperate workers who can’t afford to say no, and use them up like they’re disposable. it’s disgusting and it should be as illegal as hiring 9 year olds or holding paychecks hostage.

i do care if someone hires someone to clean though like you can’t just throw that out there as if it isn’t well known that those people that are hired to clean your home exist because they’re poor. wash your own dirty dishes

I understand what you’re saying, but you also seem to be ignoring the fact that people who are hiring these poor people to clean their houses are giving those people jobs. If they weren’t hiring them to clean their houses, these people may not have a job at all.

i don’t agree with this logic. i don’t think we need to settle for a job or nothing, is the same to be said for women who work under slavery like conditions in clothing factories in poor countries? why can’t we fight for change instead of accepting that some people just have to be maids

Before she moved in to take care of her, my aunt hired a maid to come to my disabled grandmother’s house once a week to clean for like 2-3 hours and paid her $80 every time she came over. There’s no way my grandmother, who had a bum hip from a car accident and hobbled around with her walker (back when she could even walk), could clean her own house. Maids provide an invaluable service, especially for the elderly and disabled, and they shouldn’t be eliminated just because you think their jobs are somehow not good enough for anyone to be doing. Many jobs like housecleaners, gardeners, etc., are great for people who may not speak the local language, who may have had a limited education, or who came here as adults with limited opportunities. My grandfather, who could speak four languages fluently but his English sucked, became a janitor at the age of 58 to support his family when they first came to America, and his kids always advocated that you should treat blue-collar and traditionally low-paid workers with respect because those jobs are valuable and even someone who cleans toilets is a person who is trying their best. Basically, we shouldn’t try to eliminate these jobs; they should just be better compensated.

Acting like certain jobs are inherently bad, demeaning or a sign of a broken society is a pretty weird stance tbh. First sex workers, now cleaners? Wild.

Cleaners, home nurses, carers, nannies etc should be paid more and should not represent such a huge gap in wealth, doesn’t mean they shouldn’t exist. Some people can’t clean, need home care, need childcare in order to work, etc - there’s nothing wrong with these jobs existing but there’s something wrong with them existing only as the underclass working for the rich. They should be accessible services to people who need them and the people performing those services should be as able to afford access to the stuff they need as the people using the services.
