He sided w Tommy and tubbo during the finale bcs he'd seen what a monster his best friend had become and he realized that Dream wouldn't change. He understands that's people are sides, there are no sides without people, when he fought for lmanburg he wasn't fighting for a piece of land (not like that'd b an issue tho) he was fighting for his fiances, for Tommy, for the memories he made in lmanburg etc. There's no moral high ground w him. This isn't to say that ranboo doesn't care, ofc he does, his whole philosophy stems from the fact that he cares too much and that he thinks that it'll make him a better person, but sapnap unknowingly and continously chooses people despite war and sides and stuff.
