Since moving to Atlanta, I’ve been in a weird rut - not feeling like I can make a home here, not quite feeling like the places I’ve left are home. I’m having a harder time making friends here than I thought I would. It’s hard re-launching your life. Am I an artist? A queer person? An activist? A professional in marketing working for a huge company? A person who likes to dance until 4 am? An extrovert who connects people and loves people? An anxious person who easily distrusts people? Can I be all of these things at once and find a community of people who share some of those things or like me anyway if they don’t? I feel like I can... I just maybe have to work harder. Or work just hard enough to stumble into the thing that will give me that community eventually. I’m gonna work harder and I’m gonna find it. I drew a little doodle to help me believe it, I think.

OMG THANK YOU I was SO NERVOUS! I wish I had practiced a bit more drawing all of the characters because I felt bad erasing over and over and at some point just had to let it be what it is! I’m so glad you enjoyed it though. I’m hoping we can do it more often, I want to be able to draw whatever the fans want lol! I finished the drawing also, here it is!

Which I loved watching the reaction to omgSo yeah as silly as it is sometimes, it feels amazing to see people commenting like “omg CN this is so gay” or “omg CN is paying attention to our ships!!” cuz seeing queer representation on SU was ground breaking for me and it’s such a dream come true to be working with the team, making this content gayer 👌
